I messaged Marie today and while her comms were prompt they were also standoffish including an age inquiry (no idea if worried about too old or too young) and a take it or leave it time offer. Admittedly she has limited hours but I had been very courteous in my approach so I declined because of the bad message vibe.

Language barrier perhaps, but I'd rather feel good about it from the comms point of view.
