Perhaps re read what you put, not coming over as calm.  That one individual is part of the new ownership team and can do what they like - I suspect he was investigating how everything worked and tested what he came across.  Just give them space to work it out, deal with the technical stuff and find their own rhythm as to how to run things.  I am sure all will be good in the end, our support can make that easier and in the end build a better forum.

My reply on the other thread -
What I still don't really get is why the initial outrage about the word being censored (which one of the Admins has explained he just doesn't like the word) but moreover why people continue bringing it up and trying to bend the rules like teenage children 

Apart from this word i'm not aware of any other restrictions having been applied so perhaps people should be thankful that it's largely business as usual 
Any new owner and set of Admin's were always going to have a slightly different tack to Old Admin and like you say if people aren't happy then they can simply not use the site

I'm not outraged, Christ, the hyperbole is strong today.  I'm irked.  Why can I say something genuinely offensive, why can I use the word nigger?  Why can I call all and sundry fucking cunting bastard shits but on a website dedicated to the reviews of prostitutes, I cannot use a shortened form of that word?  I can say hussy, hooker, brass, whore and it's derivative hoor... but I can't say Sex Worker.  Why not?  Is there a reason?  Is there a carefully constructed code of conduct I can read to know where the boundaries are?  No.  There is one member of the admin team who admits that the only reason the word is banned is because he (or she) doesn't like it. 

Then there's the old line of "if you don't like it go somewhere else".  Well I do like it here, or I did before the change in ethos started to creep in.  But there is no change in ethos, according to the site owner... while his too many cooks run around fiddling with the ingredients and threatening to spoil the broth.  I'll wait and see how it turns out but I have to be honest, I'm not hopeful.

Iv been a member for 9weeks but whatever. I don’t care how I look or how what I say comes across.
I’m just making my own observations on a “free” forum. You can speculate wether im a banned member returning all you want, I know the truth. I found this site whilst looking for my first Asian massage. If I have to be investigated to prove this is my only and first account then so be it. What do you mean somebody else has already remarked on?
Also I was not shouting any odds or trying to say how to run this site, again just making observations and comparisons with my own opinions.

Seems pointless to me if it works with the quote marks. Surely if you wanted it completely removed then the word with any quoting around it should also be blocked. Anyway, it is what it is, so no big deal.

Actually that's a good point and good suggestion, personally I don't have any issue with the shortened "P" word and would have thought that whore was more derogatory but we all have our own different foibles

From the context I assume Hobbit actually typed the words "Sex" and "Worker" here, but it would have appeared the same if he had typed the banned word which we cannot use, spelled pee ar owe ess ess eye ee. This confuses my ageing brain. 

I appreciate the efforts of those who have taken over at short notice and wish them good luck with the tech efforts, which I unfortunately cannot help with, but I think what has got some people hot under the collar was the unannounced auto-correction to a more "PC" term of a fairly innocuous abbreviation.

A small price to pay for the benefits of the site, though.
