Will the the new rules on accessing adult websites in the UK from July, affect our access to UKP ?

Offline Squire Haggard

According to this, its been delayed.

''Underage wankers, rejoice. A British government scheme designed to stop underaged web users from viewing online pornography has again been delayed, the BBC reports.

The changes, which would have required UK internet users to verify their age, were supposed to take effect on July 15, but because the UK 'forgot' to tell European regulators about the plan, they must wait to implement it. Completing the process of notifying the EU could take a staggering six months.''

Its a ''world first.''  :(

''The plans for compulsory age-checks for UK porn viewers - which the government has described as a world-first - were designed to stop children "stumbling across" inappropriate content.''

It wont stop determined schoolboys either. Nothing will get in the way of onanism.

There blaming it on Brexit! pmsl

I watched the minister Jeremy Wright announce the delay and the reason he gave was his government didn't inform the European Commission of one part of this law. He formally apologised and said it would now take up to 6 months for the new law to come in. Labour then obviously castigated him but said they wanted  this law in as soon as possible as did loads of MPs from various parties.

In this statement I didn't hear him blame Brexit.

It shouldn't affect access to UKP because a site is supposed to be at least one third porn content to be under the scope of this new law, but who knows for sure until it comes in. Its already a total shambles and I expect it to get worse once its in.

it stands no fucking chance of working, look at who's implementing it, and who it's designed to stop..... yeah, that's simply not gonna work is it! cause lets face it, the younger generation will always be capable of running rings around the older generation when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Take china for example, they tried the worlds biggest firewall to sanitise the internet to their own propaganda.... and failed, so there's fuck all chance of our bunch of squabbling cunts managing it with cock all funding and even less knowledge

they should be more concerned with all the hook up and fuck apps that are on 90% of teenagers phones these days, they don't need to watch porn, they're out fucking and recording their own
