Apparently GFE are moving into the old Sabai Rooms buildings next to the M1 at Tinsley.
Sabai Rooms have already relocated to the old Pandoras on Attercliffe Road.
City Sauna have moved along Attercliffe Road to the old Kittens, opposite Pandoras.

Maybe the lease is up for renewal and the landlord is wanting too much rent for a new lease? Who knows........can't see the use being an issue as it's been a knocking shop for years, unless it's a new landlord who disapproves.

I've been told more than once by clients who are higher up the chain at Sheffield council that they leaders want attercliffe cleared.... At least the area around the new college. Lots of regeneration going on and like Sheffields RLD they will just slowly push people out with high rents and tougher policing.

I believe they share the same landlord. Sabai Rooms is currently being refurbished, ready for GFE to move in.
The GFE building will then be gutted, apparently it is in a poor state.

I'm happy about this. Sabai location is right next to the M1 and there's no trouble parking at all.

Hard to see what they can do to make it more discrete, the road it is on is a dead-end cul-de-sac (overlooked by the M1 Southbound Tinsley Viaduct!)
Are they going to knock through a whole new entrance in the end of the building perhaps?
As you say, apparently GFE is intending to close at the end of business Wed 14th Aug and reopen at the old Sabai Rooms premises Thur 15th Aug.

I don't mean to turn it to politics, but how many fucking tramps does one City need? I was in Leeds recently and I only saw two beggars and a few drunks in the city centre, go to Castle Square and you expect to see a few or worse still is by West Street - five beggars down one street FFS. Hit them with an on the spot fine and a curfew. Oh and beggars are never homeless before anyone gets on their high horse, it's organised crime by gangs.

Anyway, with regards Attercliffe I'm surprised the councils have been so tolerant for so long. As I've said before I'm sure the City Sauna series was seen as a big two fingers up at the police given it got millions of viewers, if it was some web documentary on YouTube I doubt they would give a shit. Attercliffe, park hill flats, castle square area are shit holes and always will be it's like sprinkling glitter on dogshit. I would actually live by Kelham Island a regenerated area if it wasn't next to something resembling the third world.

I am in 2 minds about this.  At the present localation, there are many options for you to park that is not near the parlour.  Moving to the new place there is only 1 option which is straight infront on the short road.  This is why i only went to Sabi rooms twice and then i only went at night becuase there was more chance for you to park.  Hmmmmm.....

You dont have to park outside at all , you can park down the road or even adjacent to the units that have been built . If you are being that precious park in meadowhall or the overspill and walk in .
They have bricked the side door up and its going to be the same front recessed door as before so you are not exposed and if that does not float your boat then dont go !

Been today nice new premises just 1 or 2 finish touches needed, but all in all pretty good, room i was in had all mod cons including air con. parked up in meadowhall car park and 10 min walk was there. front entrance not very clear but accessable between 2 old shop fronts, review coming up soon.

I went on Sat. If you don't know where it is it's a pain to find by satnav, but now I know much easier than the old place for anybody travelling.

When I came out some asian youth was standing in the doorway of the curry place a couple of doors down and kept asking me where I'd been. When I got in my car there were about 6 gang type youths at the entrance of the parking area. I was expecting them to give me some aggro but to be fair they barely noticed me. I can see this really becoming a problem down the line if it escalates and I'll definitely be parking down the road and walking next time.

Hmm sounds a bit dodgy that. I did drive round once when it was Sabai but location put me off but it was years ago, thought it may have changed. What other parlours other than Unit 8 do people recommend?

Its been a problem in the past with the locals picking on punters down there . Its pot luck what the youths get up to but it does happen and has happened.

I went down yesterday to the new GFE, haven't been to the old one in about 2+ years.

When leaving I had the same situation with a guy approaching me when going to the car, a white kid, in 20s "you got a fiver mate?" I said no, and walked on "you give us a fiver or my lads getting your number plate" I still just walked on "okay got a picture of you, will message you on Facebook pal!"

I was parked right there so he obviously saw what car I went into and not sure if he took a pic of me or not. Now I don't really care if he finds me on Facebook etc but for those with girlfriends/wives you might want to park on a different road.

Discretion is a very big thing for me, so someone hassling you after you come out, saying they have your pic and they’ll out you on social media, makes the place less appealing for me. Just my opinion.

I think there's more chance of GFE moving to the Lyceum.
