Having attained my Senior Bus Pass and suffered some age related medical problems I found that the combination of  some of the medical products prescribed and my age led me down the unwanted road towards ED.

Seeking some assistance I went online to see what my options were Viagra (Sildenafil) and Calais (Tadalafil) so I took my first step and ordered Sildenafil 50Mg from Superdrug to be delivered to their local store. Excellent service I would have to say but a bit pricey.

These sort of worked but it was obvious to me that I needed a stronger dose to attain what I thought was a normal erection. During this time I needed to consult my Doctor re other medication I was getting for my other ailments. During the conversation i was informed that I did not qualify for NHS prescription for ED meds as my ailments were not on the list, but he understood that some of my other meds and my age was causing me ED problems.

To my surprise he gave me a private prescription for 100Mg Sildenafil.  I took the script to my local Boots and was charged £8 for 8 tablets,
I found the side effects were hard to deal with and on a subsequent appointment he changed the script to Tadalafil 10Mg and again in Boots I was charged £8 for 8 tablets. After a trail period I found no side effects with these but they were no doing what they were intended to do.

The Doc then upped the dosage to 20Mg and I found the tablets were working as intended again at the price of £1 per tablet.  As a side story to all this when I went back to Boots with the increased prescription there was a young lady pharmacist about 28 yr old who had served me previously she asked me why the increase in dosage and of course I explained they were not working, she seemed very intrigued with the whole thing.

Last week I returned with the private script and she was out from behind the counter like a greyhound out of the trap and asked me had the larger dosage worked and what I thought etc. To me I found she was showing more than a professional interest in my ED problems asking a few questions as to how the tablet had performed etc.

All in all this is my personal experience of buying ED drugs over the counter and to those of you with the same problem grow a pair of balls and speak to your GP, its the cheapest way to get your hands on the required drugs.

No problem it's an issue that men are reluctant to speak about I hope this helps some of those who need the meds come out and ask for them.
Just a side note I have spoken to three Doctors at my local practice One female and two male and they have all had the same caring helpful
action towards me which I found very positive. It has left me very positive about my relationship with my doctors.
