if you search around on this forum you will find out the story... it was owned by a maltese pimp...
bateman street got seized by the cops.
Thanks for the backstory. Searching Soho Maltese Pimp turns up loads of articles dating way back.
i think in the past there were factors involved such as being next to or above restaurants or take aways etc... you never used to be able to get a mortgage for those properties and there were complications with what the properties could actually be used for... also the condition and quality of the properties and during times of recession were snapped up by certain types of "business men" with every intention of using them as shag houses... also... in previous decades... not everybody wanted to live in or open up businesses in a high crime rate notorious red light district...
one of my favourite haunts from around 2002 to 2009 was #36 shepherd market... closed around 2011 i think... see the shepherd market walk up thread for nostalgia.
it had a tiny open plan living / kitchen area then a tiny bedroom with ensuite but only big enough for single bed...
recently refurbed and went on the market for £2 million.
Wow. I've looked around, but not punted, in Shepherd Market, and it definitely is a lot more upscale (but not as seedy or as fun) as Soho. I saw some flats around Soho, each for several million pounds. And leasehold properties to boot. I wish I was rich. Oh well, at least with punting I can live a bit like a king for one day of the week.
Ok self nominating this for most u/s post of year...her attitude is a 10 for effort and personality Fun, sexy, willing, great eye contact. Quickly adjusted to me laughing at her 'erotic' grunts and dropped all fake shit. Lots of, teasing hands and smiles/laughs.
Yep, that's Jenny. I've reviewed, and she might be the only girl I've given a perfect 10/10 for her exceptional attitude/service.
It has been reported in the news today, that the Metropolitan Police will be trying out their new Facial Recognition cameras in the borough of Westminster on the 17th & 18th...
Thanks for the warning. If I'm reading this correctly, they won't be next to the walkups, but on other streets. Doesn't seem like too big a deal yet, but they're certainly heading in the direction of tracking your every move. Which your phone can do already, but at least you can control access to that information.
