Advice for Glasgow?

Hi all,

I'm visiting Glasgow in 2 weeks time. Staying in a hotel in the city centre. I won't have a car with me.

I've done my homework, and this is my shortlist at the moment:

I had a problem when I travelled to Edinburgh a few years back. Similar scenario but 1st attempt I had to walk because of B&S (after a long bus journey and back on a rainy night). I'm staying near Charing Cross (whatever that means). Which of these are good and not too far/difficult travel-wise? Any other recommendation that's not on my list (£120ph or less, DFK and RO essential).

OP, as you rightly point out, you've done your homework

Therefore, all the info you require is there for your perusal...in the multitude of reviews your shortlist has unearthed.

As far as I can see virtually all your shortlist would be walkable from Charing Cross...with the exception of the mad Mademoiselle...Julia & Scot Girl Next Door.

Depends what you're looking for.

I like a tidy, petite, older woman and she fits the bill.
