Hi all,

If you have sent an email on AW to a girl, how long do you wait for an answer?

What I mean is that, if you have seen that they have read the email, how long do you wait before either a) writing again or b) moving on to the next one on your hotlist?

I have sent two emails recently to accounts, both read and no responses - silences range from 24 hours on one account to 10 days on the other.

The ten days one is obviously a waste of time but the 24 hours without response leads me to ask your opinions.....

I came to the conclusion that AW messaging is a total waste of time. If there's no phone number listed, move on. I've never actually had any attempt at booking via AW actually develop to a meet.
In your case, post the links to the two girls, someone may be able to give background to them

Pretty much with Scutty there, if getting a £10 PAYG phone for working is too much effort then they aren't serious. Probably 1/5 girls who don't give out a phone number are serious and half the ones who do give you a phone number are some of the most unreliable girls out there.

It can depend. Some check-in to read their messages, but don't reply because they are busy at the time. TBH it does depend what I am asking if it is a reasonable question worded appropriately I would say 3 days is fair. The emails which seem least likely to get a reply are when I request if a girl does something sexual which isn't obvious on her profile such as if she is submissive or if she likes being spanked.

If there was no response after a couple more days I'd report them to AW as a fake account. Don't delete your outgoing mail - you can quote that as evidence that the account is fake. If the profile gets taken down they'll soon learn to answer

Ha, I've been after a couple with about 5 cancellations behind me and still going cos phone calls are cheap and I don'[t get too upset about being cancelled on. That said you can't do much of anything if the girl doesn't reply or replies very sporadically and doesn't had out a phone number. I have no shortage of sent emails that were never read.

I always give them a deadline of 24/48 hours depending on how far in advance I am booking. If a message is read and not responded to at all I just note them as not wanting my business.
I have had a few who have not replied bid on my RB at a later date, I just delete.

Unfortunately it`s an attitude of mind which very many of them fall into once they`ve started to get a few customers.  Very simply it amounts to either :-
 (a) "I haven`t taken much this week and I need the cash so I`d better ring/text him back before he finds someone else", or
 (b) "I`ve got plenty of bookings for the next few days, so sod it"

It doesn`t occur to so many of them that, as with all professions (of which they claim to be the oldest) satisfied, well treated clients come back for more and spread the word around, while those who are neither satisfied not well treated don`t come back, but also spread a very different word around.

And the ones who aren`t very bothered about what the customers think of their services don`t usually do a very good job anyway.

That's a good question and I have to say I ask it the other way round myself.
When I answer a question to a punter, I allow usually 24hrs depending of course on the day of the meeting, because I also require some notice. So, if the meeting is in a day, I'd expect an answer the same day of my email
If the meeting is in few days, then 24-48hrs is fine
If the meeting is in 2 weeks, then 4-5 days is reasonable

With regards the phone number. Whenever I have it shown, I receive a lot of calls from guys who just want to have a free chat with me whilst wanking... and I can tell by the tone on their voice... So, if someone is serious to meet me, first of all they read my FAQs and then they can email me, and once booking done then we do need to have a chat over the phone so we both have a feeling of our encounter

I would list your availability on your AW page. I've seen a few girls who do this and it takes out the guessing games, I know it may sound stupid, but some of the newbie do genuinely believe some escorts are available 24\7.

I've used a similar technique for an on the day booking. Just fired a text at seven on my HL with the words 'first to respond gets the booking'. Didn't take long to get a response. The funny thing was I predicted with accuracy who would and wouldn't respond.

Just speaking for myself. Within 24 hours. I know if I take longer a punter will usually view me as not that reliable, but sometimes work has it's claws in me. However 24 hours should be a reasonable turn around time. Unless you're asking for things they list specifically as no's, then you might be waiting eons for a response.

Some guys absolutely hate agencies, and swear by aw. And now the agency haters will be out in force. Personally I prefer agencies. Most of my punts in the North East have been with agencies, as aw is far too much hard work. If no phone number, forget it. Even with a phone number, many girls just can't reply, or have no dates their working on their page. Communication at its worst.

As I understand some SPs work only from phone calls or text message. There's ample chance to indicate this in adverts and profiles.

To answer the OP the length of time you are prepared to wait depends on your requirements, if you need an answer now you need an answer now.

I state I'll reply within 24 hours unless I'm away or travelling, in which case I indicate that on ads and my auto reply.

Recently the phone I use to access AW had a melt down, at the same time I was due to be away from my PC. First thing I did was update my auto reply, profile and place forum posts to advise phone call was the best way to make contact.

All emails I receive are replied to, even if it's "No thank you". I consider doing this good customer service however SPs who receive a high number of enquiries may struggle to do this. I myself find logging in to AW does take extra time, direct email, phone call and succinct text messages are my communication preferences.

If you need to plan you need to plan, so long as you've not got a booking in place, haven't made promises or been right in the middle of a back and forth conversation, you need to get on.

I don't know about others, but I have reasons for not responding. If the email sounds like it has been written by a fantasist, I don't bother. If they're asking for stuff I don't do, I don't bother.
I reply to all emails that seem genuine.

When I send an initial email, it's usually politely asking what times she is available over the next few days.  I work random hours so can't always plan that day and some women only work select evenings, around school times, random weekends etc.
Sometimes get completely ignored, sometimes quick responses, but generally a few hours later which isn't helpful if you want a meet that day and by the time she responds, you've made other plans, don't feel as horny, or don't want to drive in the evening.
 
It would be nice if you could get responses within minutes, but I do accept that some have lives outside of AW, may be busy with clients, have a separate phone that may or may not be on / around, or just don't get an email telling them they've got a new message.

For AW messages I do have an autoresponse which explains some of this, potentially annoying to some it does work. My direct email only usually has an auto reply if I'm on a 'non-contactable-break' which is roughly once a year.

Simply move on. Yeah it's rude but that's no reason to report a profile you're fairly sure is genuine, otherwise I'd have been reported many times. One guy messaged me earlier about content sharing bullshit, I deleted it without replying. Another idiot sent me a message about hooking up for free. I deleted that too.
