"504 Gateway Timeout" for me, although I did have the same problem getting on UKP last night, and I'm here now, I did wonder if it was that 1st April new laws that it was suggested were going to stop us viewing anything risqué but obviously not. What happened to that?

I've had it before.. I wonder if it's connected to the media content which Ukp doesn't have. The servers might be prioritizing performing some data action over the network connectivity.

The only info you ever have to go on is from the cloud service provider and that is likely to be horse shit.

They must of made one hell of a mess up for the site to be down this long. Ages back I remember when a provider I used  wanted to check that their backup power supply worked. The batteries and generators both failed to kick in and it brought down loads of sites. There wasn’t even any notice they was going to be doing this.

It's likely the data on the server is corrupted, I get errors when booting it up.
I have a full site backup but it's from yesterday 5am so if I restore it on a new server we'll lose 18 hours worth of posts / activity.
I'll give it a few more hours for them to fix before using my backup but I doubt they'll manage to fix the problem, looks severe.
