Yep that def sounds like Samanthas. Only girl I saw back then was Jenny - now known as Emma Stone (see she is back in the area again). This was way before the fillers and hair do and price hike :hi:

Yes, I remember Samantha's. It was a really highly thought of establishment once.
I remember they opened a second place in Stretford, in a heavily residential part of the town, and it didn't last too long.
I'm not sure why, but they had to move from their place in Didsbury, and opened new premises in Chorlton.
If memory serves, there was a story in the MEN that punters there were accosting schoolgirls on their way home from school, which was a total fabrication - bullshit basically.
However, as far as I'm aware the bad publicity forced them to close, and another well run parlour bit the dust.
Pity, especially where Chorlton is concerned, somewhere that used to have some great little parlours but which is now a barren desert as far as the punting scene is concerned.

Yes; this was one of my favourite Parlours back in my Parlour-visiting days - 2004 to '06. I particularly appreciated the way they ensured that you never saw another punter. It helped that it was a smaller place than, for example, Sandy's but that little detail made it feel a bit less like a Parlour. Also the off-street parking was a bonus; a bit like having anonymous parking spaces outside a block of flats.

No, sorry; we're talking 13, 14 years ago & I was like the proverbial kid in a sweetshop in those days.

I was never a 'trainspotter' of a punter, keeping records of who I'd seen, when or how often. And although I thought I'd never forget the girls I'd seen, I'm afraid the braincells relating to 'girls I've punted in Parlours' seem to have died years ago. It was the general ambiance of Samantha's I recall.

One girl I remember seeing at Samantha's was Fiona, later to work at Brooklyn's under the name of Astrid, who I'm sad to see has recently been sentenced to a long prison sentence.
