So, a couple of years ago there were half a dozen or more oriental providers in the Southampton area on AW then the ROMs took over , or at the very least moved in, and now a huge influx of Latina, Brazilian, Columbian etc. It occurs to me that where there is £ there are gangs and inevitably violence. So my question is , has any one heard or read anything about this ? I guess the ROMs visited the oriental providers and chased them out of town etc.

It works more by over-saturation of the local market by Rom providers/handlers.... who also start to get known cos they (the handlers) are likely to be heavily involved supplying Coke in the area.

Might be an incident or two of threat/intimidation; but this isn't their de-facto way of operating.

Another factor is that though their service (generalising here) is pretty poor, many of the ROM WG's are young and v v attractive.
