I thought reverse bookings were usually quite successful/handy in a pinch??

All my plans for my upcoming trip to london have fallen though. All the models I was going to be shooting with for work have either cancelled, or no longer replying to messages. Thing is, my travel and hotel are already paid for, so might aswell enjoy an evening in the big city, on my own, without having friends/workmates tagging along.
So I thought hey, lets start looking for some WG's to meet up with. Seems the majority on AW are either in SW/NW london which is further than I really want to go (im staying near Whitechapel), barebackers, generally seem to be unreliable or have negative reviews on here!

So I started a reverse booking. My conditions were someone aged between 18 and 35, looking to spend £60-80 for half hour or an hour (or possibly £100 tops for an hour), and preferably to visit me, though would take an incall if offered.
All ive had is one offer of an incall in Essex for £180, or someone from Manchester offering to meet for £200?! So much for a reverse booking then!

I think you need to be realistic, who's going to travel to whitechapel for £80

Outcall 150 for 2 hours will get lots of responses. but your reverse booking is the basic in call rates a lot of the time and not many birds will trek across town for less than 120 quid. Travel time along will eat up their profit is they price their time properly. Pay more or visit someone near to you.

Expand the area you will travel to. London is so easy to travel around you will have no problems reaching most places.

I use RB lots in London, mainly for outcalls and find £120 for an hour will get plenty of responses for a visit, £100 ph if it’s an incall for a GFE.

Its not as easy as you think ive found at least. I usually stay with my friend in Wimbledon..took over an hour once to get to croydon to meet someone! Anyone in the wembley and harrow areas tends to take forever to get too at the best of times, let alone from east london.
I did say in my RB though I'll take incalls too but nope, still no offers..

My normal girls in south wales are around £50 a meet, and the ones ive seen in london previously have been £60-80 an hour, so £100 is already more than I usually go!

There are certainly plenty of WGs in the Whitechapel area, but getting an outcall at £100 for an hour will leave you with limited choices. Rents in the area of E1 are higher than you'd expect, as such prices do go up. You're looking at fairly central so prices will be higher than going further out.

You are generally going to be looking at £150/hr incall, some will be less, but not necessarily not that much. But search under your parameters for the area you want to travel within, you'll find £100/hr is rare in central east London. Go further out and you'll find more options once you expand beyond E1.

And RB does not guarantee success, plenty of punters on here can state that RBs can be hit and miss.

I lived in London for 20 years until recently and found travel by public transport very easy. Yes there are times when things go tits up but for me it was very rare. The main problem is public transport is very focused on ‘into and out of’ central London. Journeys like Wimbledon to Croydon were a nightmare before the tram system.

When I am London these days I am usually based around Stratford or Docklands and on average I get between 15-20 genuine bids on a £120 ph GFE request outcall, most bidding that price. There are always a few timewasters, usually including a serial bidder from Brentwood in Essex!!

If I am looking for an incall I always state on my booking that ease of access will be taken into consideration.

Ive had someone bid on my RB..and offering £60 for an hour, outcall at my hotel! 

Looking at her profile though, her usual rate is £220 for an outcall, which does get me a little suspicious. Her feedback is also hidden too (she has a feedback rating of 2 for something). Ive messaged her to see if shes serious, and if genuine, will think of her as punt 2 as had decided on someone else to meet already, but that person is only available up until 7pm so if they cancel, might have this one available to fall back on. If she doesn't respond/show guess it wont matter too much.

No mention of her on here that I can find either strangely.

I’ve never had any luck with RB... meaning no responses at all. It makes me Think I’m missing something. how far in advance do you usually post one? I usually post one morning day of.

That will very likely be your issue. Most WGs won't check for RBs every day as there aren't that many posted and most punters don't post them just on the day of the punt. My advice is to post at least a couple of days in advance, ideally more.

Well apologies for the delay getting back to here. Much to probably noones surprise, the reverse booking for £60 was an utter waste of time..
Contacted her about it to finalize and get/give more details, replied back she wants to meet me, but will be £220 instead of the £60 she had bid! So yeah, didn't happen.

And was that just the one who bid on it then?

Because the biggest problem with A/W reverse bookings is you can only accept one and the rest get cast away.

That works if it's a specific date/time but if you're trying to find others in general it doesn't work.

I'm not sure if there is a way to "report" her to A/W for putting in a bid then changing it? But you can block that person from making any other bids on your reverse bookings.
