Author Topic: La Maison Bury - rear entrance (no pun intended)  (Read 2027 times)

On the website it mentions they have a "discreet rear entrance & main front entrance." However, when I recently had a look round the back of the building I couldn't see any rear entrance that was obvious. Can anyone please enlighten me? Am I just being thick/blind?  :unknown:

Up the fire escape. Top of the iron staircase.

Thanks mate, much appreciated! I noticed the staircase, just didn’t think that would be the entrance  :hi:

Nothing says "discreet" more than walking the wrong way up an outdoor fire escape
Just walk in the front door, it's far easier to be honest!

Plus the bottom of the staircase is across from a mechanics unit with the shutter open. Not very discrete!

Never been but it`s the same with Indigo Nile in Whitefield, car park at the rear and a metal staircase.

Small car park at the back but if you’re going during the day there’s usually a couple of mechanics floating around and they certainly know what’s going on.

Just park at KFC and walk across and straight in the front door.

Never used the back entrance and never intend to, like others say it's easy to walk along the road keeping your head down and just turn left / right into the main front door which is open so no hanging around on the street.
I've been to a couple of places over the years and gone up a metal fire escape to gain access (including my 1st ever punt), not only does the fucking metal clang with every step but you are elevated up so everyone hearing the noise can turn around and see you as you ascend the stairway to heaven.

Last time I went there they had a couple of workmen on the stairs painting them. I had trainers on so they didn't hear me padding up the stairs so I had to clear my throat and politely ask to get by. They were my age and actually appeared more embarrassed than I was!? To be honest, I didn't actually bat an eyelid...... we're all men of the world kind of thing. To be fair to Indigo Nile, both times I've been they've buzzed open the door the instant I've rung the bell - never been left standing their like a lemon. Presume they see you on CCTV and are poised to whizz the door open.

Always used to feel conspicuous going up the stairs at the old KSG in Didsbury, there were sometimes people in the adjoining back yards & you had to stand there waiting for the door to be opened.
Never used the back entrance at Brooklyns for that reason, looks too open & visible

Once going up the back stairs at KSG Didsbury, a twat in the yard next door shouted “Does your missus know”? I just blanked him and carried on. What a prick though!

I think the worse I have visited was the place in Sale not far marks and spencer I think, you could park there and walk to the parlour, it had a iron staircase outside and was very exposed !!

It was called ‘Bliss’. The staircase looked over Sainsbury’s car park and faced a pub.

Brooklyn's at Crewe sounds to mind in this aspect!

My memory is definately fuzzy these days.

Yep that's what actually inspired my quote, only been there twice, 1st time was the metal stairs at the back  and 2nd time I went the front way

Try doing that with a walking stick as well as shoes! :scare:

It's both noisier & slower, and is one of a number of reasons why I tend to visit Escorts rather than Parlours - certainly this one - these days.

Years ago I remember going to a similar sounding place (entry via fire escape/rear stairs) in that area but it was (one of) Cheshire Incalls' places.

I was visiting 'Kat'. She was probably the fittest wg I've ever seen, with a fantastic body.

This metal staircase must a universal thing. This place in Ilford, London used to be a parlour many moons ago. I used the rear entrance once, it sounded like I was wearing tap shoes!
