This was late December. Unfortunately this was not a good experience. Firstly, she is basically a crossdresser not trans. I think she lives full time as a woman but has only recently started the transition. So be prepared for that. When I first entered the flat I felt stubble when she kissed me on the cheek and that was a big turn off. The place was a filthy council flat on the top floor with dodgy people hanging out in the stairwells. It is the estate just off the western side of Edgware road. The room itself was very dirty and stank of weed. I noticed another room with a sex swing and tissues all over the floor. The whole place kind of made my skin crawl tbh. I was turned off and it felt awkward. I stupidly paid her as soon as I went in. After a minute or two, I asked if she was TS and she said admitted no, she was basically a CD. I politely said I was looking for a full time, transitioned TS and she was not too happy about it. However, to her credit and my surprise, she offered to return my money in full. I accepted and left quickly. She sent me a few pissed off/abusive texts afterwards saying that I had hurt her. I didn't mean to and felt bad about it but what can you do? I apologised and then once I had done this I received a torrent of abuse and then she blocked me. It was kind of weird. I believe I had a lucky escape.

Would I be right in thinking that a good indicator of whether a girl is CD or TS, is whether they're on hormones or not?

I've seen a couple of TSs (one good, one bad) but in both cases (thank God) there was a feminine voice, feminine manner and smooth skin with no stubble.

I think if I turned up to a punt and felt stubble upon kissing, I might well throw up    .

(Yes, I know they all have cocks - unless post-op - but I do see them as girls with something extra, not blokes in frocks).

They are technically the same, however a crossdresser usually strives to dress as a woman, while a transvestite strives to be mistaken for a woman

Rather than "Mistaken as" - likely better to say "appear as"
i.e.
CD = guy dressed in women's clothing, doesn't mind looking like a guy
TV = guy dressed in women's clothing, tries to look like a woman

CD + TV : live as a man and consider themselves male, but sometimes dress up.
TS : Live as and consider themselves the gender not on their birth certificate (male/female - both ways). Hormones or surgery depends on how far they are along the path of transitioning.

TS could be just starting out, or full surgery top + bottom. Quite a broad scale. More a sense of being rather than chemicals + genitalia.
So you could theoretically have a TS that looks physically like a TV.

Personally I wouldn't see a TS unless they were on hormones (and had been for a little while). And if I see a TS girl advertising on AW or Birchplace, I kind of assume that's the case.

Breast implants wouldn't bother me particularly, and I'd prefer natural small, jiggly girly tits to oversized implanted footballs.

Post-op TS, I can't see the point, I might as well see a genetic girl.
