GUM/SDT Clinics in Glasgow

Hi,
I would like to know where I can  find a good GUM in Glasgow.
I was told that NHS records everything and this can be a huge problem for the job career.
I want also to know what is the difference between the NHS and a GUM clinic, if there is a price for the test and how much can be (more or less) the price of them, how much discreet it is, etc...
I would like to know as much information as possible.

Your help will be very appreciate.

I don't know what a GUM clinic.
But for HIV, Herpes, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia you go to the Sandyford walk in clinics.
No need to make an appointment.
You go to the information desk and they give you a number.
When your number is called they will see the nurse.
Yes they record absolutely everything.
How many different sexual partners in the last year ect...
If you tell them you have been seeing working girls they will give you a Hepatitis B vaccination.
They are supposed to be impartial, but the case when I went. I got a lecture on how these girls are vulnerable women, anyway that's another story.

Of course you can just tell them you had a one night stand without protection.
But if you're seeing working girls you need a Hepatitis B vaccination and an HIV test every 3 months.
One of the nurses at the Sandyford clinic told me that you are safer with prostitutes than with Ibiza types because prostitutes take STD seriously and look after themselves.

What Hun said. There are other branches of the Sandyford Initiative though, not just the one off Sauchiehall Street, way past Charing Cross. There's branches in the Southside, East End and so on.

I've never been lectured yet myself; I told the doctor about finding and using only British SPs via Adultwork, avoiding EE girls and staying away from WGs under the £100 per hour mark and they seemed to be impressed by that (!?). I also got the Hep B vaccination when I was last there before Xmas. It's first come/first served and it's mixed. No women only days, etc.

No shame in going to these places at all.

I've been told before by nurses that work there that they are completely impartial. Even if you have an STD you don't need to tell them who you were with.
The time I was lectured about prostitutes I think was very unusual and shouldn't have happened.
I only wish I got her name and reported her.
The whole Sandyford system is base on impartiality.

On visits to my local clinic, I've seen the same doctor three times and had enough time during these sessions for conversations to occur and I enjoy discussing my naughty habits (not very wise probably) with professionals but so what? A lot of the women in these places have probably only had two or three boyfriends before getting married and probably enjoy listening to some of the stuff that comes out of the questions being asked. If you're not interested in sex then what are you into?
