Visited my local rub n tug joint at the weekend and was very surprised to be given a Crimbo card and a small present. Never had this happen before and wondered if anybody else has ever received any cards or pressies?

Also interested in what the writing says if anybody knows any Mandarin or whatever language it is and can do a translation please. The 'boss Lady' did point to the words and when asked what it said in English she just laughed.

Some WGs wouldn't give you the time of day, others are more generous with their time and, on occasion, will do something nice for a punter. One lovely Hungarian lass, now retired, bought me expensive wine a couple of times.

Realised how much takeaway we were having so make a conscious effort to order Chinese instead

I do not know if they are selfish per se. I think they are trying to avoid intimacy and thus giving any false impression to punters.

If you put effort into building a rapport with SPs who show some warmth then you will more often than not get better consideration.  Over the years have had all manner of consideration from those I've bothered to be friendly with, regardless of whether I was a regular client.

Not difficult at all to excuse it to the takeaway you frequent often if you have to explain it.  Even if you have to dispose of the evidence you can't fault the sentiment.
