The way I understood the meaning of the 'going rate' was when there was a standard set rate across the board.  A few years back i'd say the going rates were £80/£130 pretty much for every SP locally, all I meant was that it seems to be much more varied in the Glasgow area nowadays.  I'm in total agreement with you that we have our own max rate that we are all prepared to pay, regardless of what SPs charge.

It's a good thing the SP in question offers specials days for those who can't or won't stretch to her rates.

Interesting your impression was that most of her meets were GFE based, as I was the opposite, but possibly just my ignorance.
