Visited this establishment two weeks ago and massage was offered at £40. Having parted with my cash i was taken to a dimly lit room and aske to undress. After a couple of minutes a young Chinese woman entered dressed in a very short dress and proceeded to give me a massage. Sounds fun. Been meaning to visit this place for a while now just never seem to get round to it. As to the price it's perfectly acceptable to negotiate at a massage place. It's common practice for girls to give a high starting price expecting a punter to negotiate. Saying that her prices here aren't rediculously high for what was offered.

yup, been a couple of times, but its going downhill a bit of late, there's been discussion some other forums of that.  Used to be one of the best in town, but big price hikes and not quite the quality it used to be.  Depends what your after,

If it had been OWO I'd honestly be tempted, though I agree with Flying Blue, it is an expensive indulgence.

I'd avoid 'Best Thai', it's gone downhill now. I'd stick to Pilgrim st, and Lavenders in Nunn st. And apparently this place. (I've been in the past, but only when it first opened and seemed strictly legit)

As ebgb pointed out, "traditional thai" has a good reputation, though I've not been myself.

Haven't been to Best Thai for a while, the few times i did go the woman who did the massage felt dodgy as hell.
Think she was called Leah? always went with "dont tell the boss i'm doing this (happy ending)" or "next time you come, i can do body to body, just not today"

Lavenders give a great massage, but the ending is really mechanical. monotone voice and hand action.
