Does anyone have any particular recommendations for hourly (well, couple of hours) room rental in London?

Sites I found so far:

External Link/Members Only - seems to have some reasonable offers, including checkin at 6 or so
External Link/Members Only

External Link/Members Only

Sadly most are Not Near Work. :-(

Does anyone have intel on other 'private rooms' offered?

I think you've covered all the main ones in that list. I believe Dayuse.Com is biggest and recently it's the only one I ever use. The big secondary advantage is that there is no cancellation fee and it can be cancelled at any time.

Agree with the above. Dayuse.com is you best bet.
