Watching so much porn over the years I can see that most guys in porn seem to have been circumcised. I can understand the hygiene benefits of it but the idea of someone cutting away at my nob sounds terrifying.

So the question is, have you ever thought about getting circumcised? Are you circumcised? And if so have you found any benefits sexually after being circumcised? For example, do women prefer it, does it make you last longer?

I was circumcised a week after I was born-as per the rules of the Jewish faith.

It certainly doesn't make you last longer,as in my case I now suffer from PE.

Very easy to wash and keep clean.

There is a trend towards classifying male circumcision as MGM, that is, 'Male Genital Mutilation' which, of course it is, within the strict definition of 'mutilation'. In rare cases, where the foreskin is too tight, it is performed in the UK out of medical necessity. The Americans do it for no better reason than that they have always done it! There's reason to suppose that the trend is in mild decline in the USA.

I knew people did it for religious reasons but I was wondering if there would be any benefit in sexual performance.

Personally I don’t think it is a good idea to get circumcised just because you’ve watched a lot of porn.

As long as the fore skin fully retracts there shouldn’t be any issues with hygiene and unless there was a medical issue there is no way I would entertain the thought of circumcision.

As for what the ladies think about it. In civilian and paid sex here in England the uncircumcised penis is the norm so why should they care so long as you are clean and healthy.

I was given the snip at age 11 due to phimosis. Was a bloody horrible couple of months as it healed.  Usually it is done at a very early age so I was unfortunate I guess. Also the old banjo string used to be collateral damage back in those days. Nowadays they keep that intact to allow more pleasure when you're having sex.

Personally I would not recommend having the snip unless you need it done for medical reasons, especially not as an adult. My knob is still sensitive and enjoys the feel of a good tongue, but it is no where near as sensitive as it was back in my teens. It gets 'hardy' over the years due to exposure, wear and tear, and everday rubbing (no not wanking - rubbing in your pants, walking etc.).

I was circumcised at 20 for medical reasons, a surprisingly high no of men have problems down there, they usually suffer in silence, basically the problem is caused by parents not checking the foreskin retracts. There is the benefit of always being clean, but you are less sensitive and therefore you get less out of blowjobs and shagging. You are also less likely to get aids or the clap. But if everything functions leave well alone. Yes you can get it done on the NHS if your GP sees no alternative. It has to be done for medical reasons and not just cos you fancy the idea.

The only problem I found after the operation is for a couple of weeks till the stitches dissolve whenever you get an erection, even during your sleep, it is bloody painful. Like having a piece of wire tied under your knob and cutting into your dick. Where you can’t ejaculate for a while after the operation erections get regular.

Once again it’s down to you and your body. You will have people telling you a Roundhead has less sensitivity than a cavalier. Yet some people who have been cut still suffer from premature ejaculation.
