The Sunday Times is running a front page story today about flats called Chelsea Cloisters in London. Used by a large number of SP's according to the paper. The owner of the building is a donor to the Tory party, which gives them a purpose for running the story, together with a readers poll as to whether paying for sex should be illegal. You'd think Brexit would keep them busy quite frankly, without poking into this again.

Revealed: Tory tycoon Christopher Moran’s links to sex for sale in Chelsea Cloisters
Prostitutes ply their trade in his apartment block

Theresa May has accepted large donations from a property tycoon who is profiting from an apartment block rife with prostitution in one of the wealthiest areas of London.

An investigation by The Sunday Times has established that more than 100 prostitutes are listed on websites as available for business in the building in the heart of Chelsea owned by the multimillionaire Christopher Moran.

The block, Chelsea Cloisters, has so many prostitutes using it as a base for paid sex that the men who frequent its corridors have referred to it as “Sodom and Gomorrah” and the “infamous 10 floors of whores”.

Its 670 apartments generate millions of pounds in rent or service charges for Moran’s company every year. Moran, 70, who has described himself as…

Most stories  allow readers to place comments under individual stories. However,I've just noticed the paper is not allowing them to be made under this one.

One prostitute interviewed was a Rom .The report names her as Elana  and says 'not her real name' but it's not clear whether it's her working name. No Elana in London listed on AW.
Anyone here visited Chelsea Cloisters. The flats don't sound like the places that would be used by up-market top-price courtesans.

I know the place very well having lived in London for donkeys years. Funnily enough I recall only ever visiting one WG there and that was several years past.

Following the publication of two anti sex work articles by the loopy feminist bigot  Julie Bindel, I cancelled my 'Telegraph' subscriptionin favour of the 'Times'. Imagine my disappointment at the number of silly season stories (of which the one under discussion is an example) which I have encountered in the 'Times'. Slip shod journalism, poorly researched and written. OWO and anal described as 'extreme', FFS.
The 'Times' is the sister publication of the 'Sun'. 'Nuff said.

These "experts" could be using a cloak of bullshit in order to throw their readers off the scent of them being punters. Imagine if they appeared to be well informed in the whys & wherefores of punting. It would be tantamount to outing themselves.

''Theresa May was last night urged to hand back almost £300,000 in Tory party donations received from a property tycoon who is profiting from an apartment block rife with prostitution in one of the wealthiest areas of London.

More than 100 prostitutes are reportedly working from the Chelsea Cloisters block which is owned by multi-millionaire Christopher Moran, 70, who has attended many events with members of the Royal Family and is worth more than £404 million.

The block of 670 apartments – where Mr Moran has an office – earns him millions of pounds in rent and service charges every year.

Undercover reporters from The Sunday Times were able to make 40 bookings with prostitutes using 23 apartments in the building – 15 of them in flats rented directly from Mr Moran's company Realreed.''

Aw...Chelsea Cloisters AND the Daily Mail. My two guiltiest pleasures on the same page. :)

God! I've punted in that place so many times. First time was YEARS ago.  I can hardly remember the details. I once fucked a pregnant WG in there - I had no idea before I turned up that she was pregnant. That was weird.  And I'm pretty sure I had my first COF in there. That opened the door to a world of pleasure.

I wonder what will happen now.  Will they all get turfed out?  If so, there needs to be a blue plaque.  My suggestion for the words on the plaque is as follows:

CHELSEA CLOISTERS
1990 -2018
Many, many whores got
fucked in this building.
We thank them all for their service

I've always wondered who came up with the phrase 'Ten Floors of Whores'. It's a cracker...!

Clearly I've been deluded about the Times for a while. Some very poor, sensationalist journalism. I get that there are people on political and moral crusades but I guess reporting facts and offering a balanced view to let the reader decide are no longer valuable currency. The sister article refers to, presumably, a UKP review.
External Link/Members Only

The moans of sex are audible in the building’s dark corridors. And in the rooms, the scenes can be disturbing. “I pushed her up against the wall by the throat,” one male visitor boasted on a prostitute review website last year

I found a review that fits the bill, but I won't post it since it identifies the SP. The point is that she was a willing participant but I suspect that part wasn't so important nor interesting.

There is also a poll asking whether prostitution should be made a criminal offence. The not allowed brigade are expressing their disappointment that the majority of respondents say "no". The level of ignorance saddens me.

"Just voted. 70% now thinking paying to rape someone should be legal, how deeply depressing sad"

"Men who have visited the building are said to have referred to it as having 'ten floors of whores' with others boasting on prostitution forums about the lewd acts they took part in whilst inside the cloisters.

One man said on a prostitute review website that he pushed a woman by the throat against a wall in a property before performing a sex act on her that left her 'gagging'.

Perhaps the Tory donor will be putting pressure on May and her dickhead followers to drop the idea of criminalising payment for sex.

Yup, the zero tolerance approach works best.  :)

''The block of 670 apartments – where Mr Moran has an office – earns him millions of pounds in rent and service charges every year.
There is no suggestion that Mr Moran has any involvement with the prostitution. In a statement through his lawyers, he made it clear that his management took a 'zero-tolerance' approach to prostitution.''

Never been near to Chelsea Cloisters but I am sure that Dolphin Square in Pimlico used to be a venue some decades ago. I am sure I punted there and attended one or two punting or swinging parties parties there also.

Offline PatMacGroin

Been there a couple of times, long before discovering UKP. Didn't know of it's reputation at the time, but wouldn't have been surprised. Both of the flats I visited were clean but basic, little more than bedsits. Perfect functional set-up for WG's. If there are as many as 100 WG's operating out of the building at the same time I'm surprised the lifts aren't stuffed full of us punters arriving and leaving on the hour and the half hour all day long.

The article in the mail reads more like an advert for the Diva agency. I wouldn't be surprised if one or both of the journalists that wrote the article has a developed a touch of EAS for "Guadalupe". Perhaps during their "40 bookings with prostitutes using 23 apartments in the building"? Out of the 9 images posted to illustrate the article 5 of them are of this one WG. Surprisingly, there don't seem to be any reviews of her on here yet.

Never been as far as I know, but I've certainly been in more than my fair share of anoymous blocks of flats. Probably my second favourite place to punt after the old flat above a shop set-up (preferable one with multiple doorbells so as to disguise foot traffic). As for this bloke, apparently he has figured out how to get paid out of the never-ending revenue stream that is the proceeds of whoring. If so, as long as he keeps the place up to minimal nick and doesn't let any trafficked women work out of his rooms, I don't see the problem. I'd far rather he was the kind of property owner/land lord a WG had than have them working out of a building owned by some Russian gangsters for example. For one thing, he's the kind of person who'd be embarrassed by a report in the news that he's basically made a significant chunk of his multi-million pound fortune off the backs of hookers, rather than being worried the story would have the cops looking into other, more illegal activities

The room I rented was tiny and fairly shite, I was glad to spend as little time there as possible.

'Compact'? 'Sheds'? Not true in all cases.

I've punted there since the '90s and in bedsits of various sizes, one bedroomed (with living room) and two bedroomed (with living room) apartments. Last time there was about three years ago (Elly, tall, slim, black girl) and there were two good-sized bedrooms, a large living room and good sized bathroom with shower and round jacuzzi bath. Many parts of the building have been upgraded, over the years, but they've kept some rooms for the low-rent trade.

I guess, like all flats in Central London, rentals for 'the game' have sky-rocketed, so more agencies are putting girls into the cheapest rooms. I'd add that WG flats, in Kensington would cost just as much. Cheaper out in W14, certainly, but too far out for the trade they want, as well as less chance of the relative anonymity, of CC or the mansion blocks of K&C. Buildings, like CC, were numerous, at one time but have almost disappeared in recent years.

£120 might sound expensive (£840 a week) but unlike normal flats you would not need a huge deposit or contract, the first punter pays for the rent, after that it’s all tax free profit.

Same here. I've not punted there in a while, but back in the late 90s/2000s I saw a few girls there, and most of them had reasonably sized apartments - most one or two bed, with a couple of decent sized studios.  I assume rents have skyrocketed since, leading to girls renting cheaper rooms, and probably the landlord subdividing existing apartments.

Not sure how this works but I've copied the "share token" link from the not allowed page mentioned earlier in this thread and it allowed me to vote in the poll without throwing up the paywall. Figures just now were 40% for Yes (make using a prostitute a criminal offence) and 60% No (don't make it a criminal offence).
