Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm thinking of doing my first punt. Is it normal to book on the day or do the girls prefer more notice. Also any tips would be helpful.

If they are free, they most likely will take a booking. In many ways, like booking a meal or any service provider such as a dentist or plumber. I have booked a few weeks in advance, and an hour in advance. Most common about 24 hours in advance.
