No text came so texted her,early p.m. : 'Hi Kazz. Disappointed at no text. If you are interested, how about 2 pm tomorrow ?'
Reply : 'Interesed in what?'
Me : 'My email via AW last night'
Reply : 'Ooh sort (sic) hun, I have not checked my emails because I was working all night.Text me please'
Me : 'You replied to mine promising to text.Requested a 30 min meeting. If okay, what is the post code please?
Reply : 'Post code CB1 2PH'
Me : Shall I place a formal booking on AW then ?
Reply : 'Yes please darling'
I did so
Me :'Hi hun. Can you let me know the apartment number please.Don't want to be messing about in the rain.( Would have been on foot at that location)
Reply :'CB2 9NN. BISHOPS COURT APARTMENT'
So now a venue a 30 min drive away from the first and still no room number. Anyway, I drove there and parked in the pissing rain, zero hour minus 20 min.
There are seventy-odd apartments , widely scattered in numerous blocks and numbers poorly marked.
Texted : 'Am here.What number and when should I make my slow,wet way to the door ?
No reply. At zero hour plus 2 min, rang her number. Got automated reply, 'unavailable'. Left message threatening to walk if no reply within 4 minutes.
At zero hour plus 10 min, texted : 'Visit aborted.Going home. Time waster !'
Is this fiasco typical ? Two hours on now and no communication received. Can't post a negative on AW because meeting not confirmed.
