Still wouldn't get my business, she's showing her true colours by wanting around £50 more per hour as an indi. I know they're all in it for the money but the decent ones are happy to keep the rates the same and just score for the saved commission.

I don’t work for an agency I’m 10000% independent.

And oh, one more thing.  My prices aren’t changing and I won’t be in the NE again.

Are you saying you've never worked for an agency or that you worked for an agency for 2 days during which you were happy to get paid £50 less per hour than your independent rate for bookings you took during that time through them.

They're trying to push prices up here but, for now, the agencies are helping to keep them down with a good selection at £60 / £110. Having said that some indies have upped their prices to 'deter the riff-raff' (and UKP members).
