Brain picking time from my fellow Berlin punters

Apart from good old google maps are there any apps that don't bleed your data that are good for finding the naughty parts

All that's coming up is Google. Granted probs be the only one but if you never ask you never find out

Re data:
You should find that most bars and cafes offer free wifi, so that is a good way of avoiding eating data.  However, you will be able to use your data plan from the UK, thanks to the EU wide free roaming ruling.  Basically means you have access to the data plan you have in the UK, so wont have any roaming charges.

Apps/Sites:
The site that I used with some sucess in Berlin was External Link/Members Only

If you’re really worried about data consumption then you can download maps in advance using the google maps app

You may find that if you get GiffGaff PAYG summary your goodie bag works in most of EU. I was pleased to discover this.
