Summary - I've seen Jenny nearly every month since 2016 - in fact I'm not sure I've missed one as it goes. She's always been an excellent WG with great service, hence why I'm a regular. Which is why I'm so surprised to have received this kind of service from her - to the point I wasn't going to leave this review just yet but instead wait to hear her side of the story. However, since the review rules permit negative reviews for confirmed meets that didn't happen, and (as you'll find out reading on) I gave ample opportunity for explanation, I feel it's justified.
As normal, Jenny texts me (I've given permission for her to do so) when she's going to be visiting Harlow, and she did just that last Thursday, to say she'd be in town on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Normally I'm very flexible with time/appointments, but this time I had a fair bit on this week so asked for a 5pm 30-minute slot on Wednesday (22nd). No problem she said, and told me what hotel it would be in. Fast forward to Wednesday, and just after midday she text me again asking could I do 5:15pm instead, giving a reason that she doesn't have many bookings that day, with her first being 3pm and her last wanting to book in at 6pm. No problem I said, 15 minutes isn't a big deal to me and as it turns out I wasn't doing anything that evening anyway. She thanks me and says she'll see me soon and repeats the hotel name.
I pull into the carpark and text her at exactly 5:15pm to let her know I'm there and for the room number. She usually replies with the floor and room number and I make my way up/to it. she's often a little bit flakey with time keeping and has kept me waiting for 5 or 6 minutes before now, but I never lose time on the booking so I'm not worried. This time however, ten mins later I've had no reply. So I text again at 5:28pm. No reply. I wait some more, still no reply, so I call her at 5:38 - all I get is "this persons phone is switched off". So I text again, at 5:39, saying I've waited over half an hour with no replies and no idea what's going on so I'm going home. I try her phone a couple more times to see if it's on again and it's not. So a little later that evening I log into AW to send her an email there, and notice she's logged in there and changed her location to Stevenage and updated her profile to say what days she'll be there (next month). She hasn't logged in since - she did say that Wednesday was her last working day just before her holiday. But I believe I've given her enough chances to reply to me and contact me with an explanation - whether she's seen my texts or AW email or not, she knows we had a booking confirmed and that she's broken it.
Conclusion - Very disappointing service from an otherwise reliable and good WG.
Return? - Debatable now.
