I'm sure that this is something that happens often ands there is some unwritten decorum for this but it is a first for me.

I texted and booked a 1/2 hour punt with a Yorkshire escort last night for today which she confirmed and sent me directions etc. She asked me to text this morning to confirm and when I did she said that someone else who wanted an hour had asked for the same time so she had cancelled my appointment.I didn't book it through AW or anything so perhaps it's my own fault but normally I would expect 'first come first served' to apply or at least a heads up asking me to change the time or something.

I haven't named the escort in case I'm in the wrong here...

What are your experiences of similar and what is the protocol between punters and escorts here please?

I would expect that a good service provider would be looking to get repeat business from clients.  If she makes no effort to keep clients happy by checking with them before cancelling, possibly offering an alternative time, this suggests she gets little repeat business.  You might have dodged a bullet there.

Confirmed appointment cancelled by the prossie is enough for you to post a negative review

If its someone I wanted to tick off my "to do" list I might let it slide untill I have seen them. Otherwise I would 100% put a negative review.

Agreed entirely.

I'm not sure if the fact she has admitted she's bumped the OP for a longer booking makes it better or not. I guess she's being honest at least, but it's still bang out of order.

Another way of looking at it is if an escort has a punter cancel last minute to see a different escort, you know she would be angry.

This had me spitting out tea lol - can you imagine the uproar of furious indignation on other fourums if the a punter dare do that.

If she cancelled due to illness then you would have not given it much further thought. Bit dumb of her. Negative is justified. She's not professional

I was recently let down twice in the same week by an escort in South Yorks. 1st time seemed like a genuine reason so rearranged. The 2nd time she basically forgot about the booking, which was only confirmed the evening before. I really wanted to see her but felt that a negative review was totally warranted.

Time to name and shame.
