ive got a 10 day stay on crete in the Greek islands coming up will have 8 days free. is there anything going on there

Crete has some decent shag holes and a tolerable strip club. See the UKP wiki. Nice town.

I should add, specifically Chania. Easy walking distance from where your o/h will be admiring the tourist tack and chatting up waiters over freshly caught fish.

You're not far from Heraklion but Chania's nicer. You could get buses and do it as a day trip.

I'm not quite sure why people think there will be prossies in every pissy little village...

I take it you’ve looked at Bourdela.com? Bit fiddly, you maybe want to use chrome to get instant translate, but it has a pretty comprehensive coverage kept up to date by locals. Heraklion is ok, decent museum if you’re into that stuff, just a bit grubby and ‘normal’ compared to Chania which is an unusual and beautiful wee town. Anyway, enjoy yourself!
