I don't agree for 2 reasons:

1) You'd be incredibly unlucky to get arrested for personal weed amounts in your own home
2) A DBS (used to be CRB) check would make it clear what you arrest was for, and most places (not all obviously!) would be fine with weed possession. In fact, my company accidentally sent everyone in the company a copy of everyone's CRB by email and I was surprised how much people had and still had a job (work in health and everyone has to be checked).

1. If you get your door put through and personal weed is all they find, you will get done for it.  they have to justify putting your door through.  Even a caution will appear on your dbs certificate.

TBH, I think it's good that she admits it. I personally wouldn't want to see anyone that smokes weed. The problem with with prossies and palours that allowed weed smoking is if the place was busted, not for drugs, but unpaid taxes, a working flat or unpaid taxes, the weed thing would mean charges are pressed. Whose to say the police wouldn't presume dealing is going on, given the large footfall of punters?

The other thing is discretion, prossies always bleat about this, but if a punter see a prossie that smokes weed it may be smelt on a punter clothes after leaving. Imagine having to explain that to the missus and kids.

Pretty paranoid there.I'm pretty sure that 3xtdmc isnt their real name so the only way old bill would know who they were would be to get information from the site.Doubt if ob are going to go to the bother to get a court order to obtain said information for what would be at most a warning.

No, what they do is knock on your door, search you under s.23 Misuse of Drugs Act, arrest you when they find your stash in your pocket and then search the whole premises under s.32  PACE.  All distinctly dodgy of course, but fruit of the poisoned tree and all that ...........  Warrant???? How naive to think that any self respecting Police Officer would trouble themselves with all that rubbish! Just kick the door in and worry about justifying it afterwards.

Good point - I don't blaze but I'm around it and awful lot, I don't totally agree not disagree but that's another matter.

I would never look down at anyone but would certainly like to know if the place was to be hotboxed and she was stinking of grade/smoke.
