A few weeks ago I posted that there was a Groupon deal for this place, £19 for 1 hour massage, which I duly booked
First of all to clarify the deal, you buy and book your session via Groupon, therefore there is a possibility of losing your anonymity. Once you have paid Groupon, there are 2 links, one to check availability, and the other to book. It must be booked within 4 months of purchase, and be more than 24 hours in advance. When you follow the links, you will find there are only 2 times each day, 12.00 and 13.10. There is the 1 hour option, and also a couples option for £35, so cracking VFM. Having booked you just turn up at the chosen time. Don't forget to print the voucher.
Location, on a housing estate on outskirts of Royton, seems ok in the middle of the day.
Arrived and rang the bell, only 1 girl there who took me in and locked the door again, showed me to the room (few rooms available) offered shower which I took afterwards, all fit for purpose. I understand that Hua Hin has only be open since earlier this year, although they have other locations in Yorkshire. TBH it was all clean and tidy - have been in a lot worse...!!
Pleasant thai girl, about 5', slim, and whilst age is always difficult to guess, she told me later in her 40s. Only works 2 days a week, the rest of the time she's in the food business, which I took to mean she works in a takeaway/restaurant.
Massage was good to average, I've had better but I've also had worse. Worked around my legs and back, occasional touches seemed more accidental rather than intentional. Turn over and similar work on my front, she woke little Johnson up but almost ignored him until the end when asked if he would like his massage. Now at this stage I would usually pursue other options, but I got the impression there weren't any, nor did I want to go thro a bartering ritual which usually kills the moment, so a nice relaxed HE.
Shower after, dressed, gave £20 for the service. By this time, the owner and another girl had turned up, much bigger girls than I had. Made sure they took my voucher from me. As I was leaving, a couple of likely young lads turned up who had booked a couples massage...I was able to leave them to it
Not sure I would re-visit at full price. The Groupon deal is still on although you can only book once, but overall I enjoyed the hour at the reduced price. Back on Groupon, if you search for massage or even thai massage, there seem to be quite a few places with deals all around the £19 mark, cheap as chips
