Festival Punting

As chance would have it, after never being unable to punt during the festival season in Edinburgh, it looks like the omens are good to get a couple of punts in this year.

I have a few questions for those that have the experience if you don't mind ...

1. Are we likely to get swamped with talent or will it all dry up?
2. Is the talent that is available going to so busy with all the visitors, or are they (the visitors) too interested in the shows to bother with this hobby?
3. Will the sauna scene be oversubscribed so better to stick with independents, or is there no difference?
4. Any other words of wisdom?

Having visited Edinburgh saunas during festival time in previous years the girls were saying that a lot of their local regulars avoided visits in case they might be spotted going in.  Blair Street and London Street sauna locations are not particularly discreet in this respect however New Town is better. Can’t speak re independent escorts in capital as always prefer sauna visits.

As a mostly-saunas punter, specially the Newtown & Scorpio, I only visit Mondays to Thursdays, late mornings.

At these times during the festival, I've found these 2 saunas to be no more or less busy than at any other time of the year, even when there were less girls working.

Afternoons, evenings & weekends may of course be different...

I always hope we might get some fresh talent coming to Edinburgh for the festival season... but it never happens. The exorbitant cost of accommodation in August is presumably a significant factor.

As described the only effects really are the saunas are quieter (according to the girls anyway) and the touring population goes off a cliff as accommodation becomes extortionate or unavailable.

The only real time to avoid the saunas is after a six nation game, particularly if its a home game versus the frogs. They become mayhem.
