Re the blood issue: when I contacted her first she told me she was on her period, so we re-scheduled the appointment (2 weeks later). After two weeks, I was not expecting blood - and she certainly was no longer on her period.
I do not know what the causes of the bleeding are......, maybe it is a coil, or maybe you are right and it is caused by something physiological; quite frankly, I think that speculating on the possible causes is utterly futile.

As Charles335 confirmed (thank you Charles btw), the blood issue is indeed something which can happen with her; for me it is a major turn off, but other people might not be bothered by it.
