Big Tonto has a valid point Imo,  the reason being I recall a few months back a case being heard whereas the victim had cctv although it was done illegally he caught someone committing a crime he was convicted as it was a case where the victim had been put in a threatening situation the culprit got done for this and the victim got a mild warning reminding him that the cctv was illegal but it saved him from future harassment in my view and if he hadn't had cctv the culprit would still be out there terrorising. I'm trying to remember the case and where it was but can't seem to hit the nail on the head.

A point?

Why did he write all this shite then?

Me personally I wouldn't be reporting anything, if your guy kept you from doing it at the time I would say you've gotta roll with it. Contacting crimestoppers or police will not prevent a thing, reading this post and avoiding the cretin should be enough, if not then you deserve everything u get for thinking with the other head and taking the plunge. The only plunge I would be taking would be a rusty dagger to his/her eye, but that's another matter.

Reporting this could more n likely get put on a backlog until there ready to speak or interview you, and it's there 2s word against yours, it won't go anywhere.

If anything it will come bk bite your arse again if the polis come in 6mths time wen your out and it's your wife/ bird that's in and then it will be brought bk to the surface and most prob do you more damage than the actual encounter itself.

Sorry to hear about the incident you had but me personally, it be water under the bridge and I'd rather forget it. If u have nothing to hide from family etc then it's a diff story but I doubt that's the case or you would possibly be doing outcalls.

Chin up and soldier on :music:

Bit of a contradiction.

Thanks for the advice but I know fairly well how things work regarding the rotten mob. If it's a serious enough matter for anybody to go to the police, it may be illegal but they turn a blind eye bcoz " that's no what we are hear for". Bit like if u witness a crime while doing something you shouldn't, you won't be prosecuted but they will want you to help procecute the crime in question. If u never seen or heard nothing after saying you did you will be threatened with procecution yourself. Aslong as the crime is minor compared to the 1 you are accusing and I'm guessing an apps less than getting a bat or blade pointed at you and rinsed

Some WGs insist you leave your clothes and phone etc in another room from the action post shower. I’ve often thought it a bit paranoid, but this clown, and his like, are clearly the reason why.

It’s a two way street of respect. Neither party should be recording the other without consent.

I’d also Agree the SPs Get a far higher count of arseholes than we do. If they are involved in anything dodgy, they know they’d  risk being exposed, but punters; if They go about punting as discreetly as possible, have a far less likelihood of being exposed, or other associated risks. Sticking to well reviewed  indies, by in large, as far as I can tell, Is safe.

What his agenda is, who knows. But any SP reading this would be well within her right now to refuse phones in the bedroom. Maybe that was his intention all along? Maybe he is a she.

Pretty sure the OP is a one off whackjob, and rightly banned

Any prossie insisting a punter leaves his clothes and/or phone in another room out of sight should be told to get to fuck

I'm certainly no Courtney, when it comes to online detective work, as I'm probably about to prove here...but I thought his posts reminded me of that Ickydicky character? :unknown:

Ickydicky, equally banned as he is with Bigtonto, showed some level of functional braincell activity. The latter was just a head full of undesirable mush.

Leaving my phone on the hall table or similar isn’t a problem for me. Theyd find nothing if they snooped.

No interest in making an SP anxious at the start of a punt either. I’d rather they felt safe to enjoy it more. Ive zero Interest in paying to bang an anxious prozzie.

The ones who’ve asked me to store my iPhone out the road, have either put it on a hall table, in a drawer Or Hung it up in my jacket. I don’t think that’s a big ask, so have no issues.

So long as she takes the cash and delivers, I’m a happy man. I’d rather they felt safe so I get a better service. That’s selfish grAnted, but both parties are pleased that way.

A few seasoned punters have commented on this thread. Have any of you ever experienced a WG asking you to leave your phone or other belongings outside the bedroom? Personally never experienced anything like that but wondering how common it is with any of you guys?

No never...and it's not something that I'd be agreeable to either..I'd walk.

Never happened to me, and I find it hard to believe that sensible punters would allow themselves to be parted from their possessions given the chances for mischief of one kind or another

It’s happened 3 times to me. It’s certainly not the norm for the majority of punts I’ve had. Not yet anyway, But it has happened. Not really surprising with the current capabilities of smart phones. Possibly a non issue to me as I tend to stick my phone in my jacket anyway and they tend to hang it up, so asking me to do it was no issue.

But interested to hear if anyone else has been asked the same?

Never. I only take cash and burner phone anyway so wouldn't matter, but I'd assume they were up to something if they asked that. Maybe a dim view to take of the WGs, as they're not thieves (for the most part) but by my own admission I'm a glass half empty kind of guy...
