Day hotels in Birmingham

Hello does anyone know any decent day hotels in Birmingham which are discreet with easy free parking?
Found some on this site but I don't know anything about them apart from Ibis hotel which I disliked. I live in Coventry so my knowledge on Birmingham is limited.

Hotels in Birmingham city centre with car parking are rare. I’ve used the Copthorne at Paradise Circus many times and found it to be discreet and lends itself to the kind of daytime meets that we all enjoy. There is a car park within walking distance, less than 100 yards. I think it’s called the Civic Centre car park and is behind Baskerville House.

If you want parking and something closer along the A45 then the Holiday Inn at the airport would seem to fit the bill.

You can also get Day Use Rooms at the Malmaison at the Mailbox where the Mailbox car park entrance is next to the hotel entrance. I think Malmaison guests get discounted parking.

If looking for an alternative to Brum

Novatel at wolverhamp6ton has pay and display parking close by.

Alternatively holiday inn express and the village have plenty of free parking at junction 10 M6
