After reading the multitude of positive reviews, I'd decided to go see the famous Rina Thai Massage. She is using a space in another spa on Grays Inn Road - getting there was really easy - I took a bus and got off less than a block away. It is just off the intersection of two very busy streets so if you are shy about being seen walking into a massage parlor, this would be tough.
Her place is in the basement, so you have to walk down a narrow staircase to her room. On this day, her shower was not working, so I had to use a different one (assume it's the one for the spa) down the hallway. It was small and a little dingy, so I showered as quickly as I could and got out of there.
Now, I would agree that Rina is a very pretty lady, as others have reported - she's got a really nice body, but I would say she's older than advertised. Still, I found her attractive so it was nice to get rubbed down by her... I went for the hour massage, and she did a nice massage for the first half hour. As others have said, she transitions smoothly into the sensual portion of the time, gives you the menu, and then delivers the goods. Maybe because it was my first time with her, she only offered a HJ, and not B2B or anything else. I was happy to stick with the HJ and I was able to let my hands roam while she went to town on me.
Oddly, after we were done, she became really chatty talking about all sorts of things, where as during the massage itself she would only offer up a "feel ok?" or a variant every so often. Maybe she will warm up some more on follow up visits.
Another thing to note is that I did not pay until we were done.
I actually love getting massages, sometimes more so than full service - there's just something incredibly relaxing about the whole experience, so I was really looking forward to this session. She did not disappoint and I will definitely try to repeat in the near future.
