Ex Sandys Superstars girls

I know sandys was a top place for most of us punters. I personally thought the place was shite and was a last resort and I always wished I'd gone somewhere else afterwards.
Anyway the point of this post/rant is girls who used to work there putting EX SS after their name like they are the elite,
welll your not the elite love, you just worked in a place that had fancy decorating and that's it.
So when I see a profile with SS at the end I think, oh she used to work at that dodgy place and skip right past..........

Never visited SS but have seen I think 3-4 girls that used to work there and in all honesty except Saskia I wouldn’t bother returning to any of them even though the bookings were relatively fine.

I was a regular at SS so maybe I read it differently.

I've never thought of it as some sort of elitist thing but just a case of letting former regulars know, especially as a lot of girls use the same name.

It wouldn't prejudice me one way or another.

On reflection in the year or two before they closed I think the standard had girls had declined.
They had some stunning looking girls but the in room service wasn't up to the standard that haď been set by some of the girls that had been there over the previous years.

I’m not a parlour punter myself and never set foot in either Sandys establishments. I have seen a few who’ve titled themselves ex SS or are well known to have once worked at Sandys and I can’t say it’s made any difference to me. If they’re good they’re good and viceversa. The fact they might or might not have worked at Sandys is more or less irrelevant.

Actually you’ll be surprised how many independents have had a spell at Sandys or other parlours. It’s a significant number. They just don’t bother advertising it.

I agree, they want to make the same money in a day at SS. Some of them were fully booked all day (up to 20guys/day 30mins each). £600 (at £30 or was it £40?) plus extras (10 OWO, 10 CIM etc)
They don't have the footfall as an indie and we would also criticise conveyor belt service, so they do less but charge more (extras often included).

Personally I wish the place was still going as it's demise some 20 months ago has majorly fucked up my punting habits, GFE is my new most used parlour but doesn't have the same number of girls to choose from plus that buzz in reception is missing as the footfall doesn't seem very high when compared to SS

Yeh I miss reading the paper, slurping the coffee, and filling my pockets full of sweets (mint humbugs and liquorice toffees), whilst girls half my age walked around in knickers made out of dental floss. I patiently waited for one of my favourites to finish off Dave or Johnny. Now I hang around on street corners with my dodgy punting phone waiting for an apartment number, as Dave or Johnny overrun again.

I was a fan of Bailey, she was spot on for me and I'm so glad I got to see Ava Koxxx, I forget what her name was at sandys.
Apart from those memories I thought the place was pretty shit

Some good points have been made. I pretty much only started visiting Sandy's in it's final few months (which I think is a big shame). I had some good punts but I also had a negative (which I reviewed) and a number of average/neutral punts (which I should've reviewed but didn't although I think I did comment about most of them) which included well rated girls such as Imogen, Abbie and Roxie.

I don't feel fully qualified to say but I'm sure it was the best parlour (both in terms of service and particularly looks) in the North West, even in it's last days but to be honest that's not really saying much. There is a fairly high number of competitors but even the best of them aren't that great, certainly overall.

I used to go a lot but I think that was mainly because the location of the Northenden branch was convenient for me.  Coming up the M56 meant I prefer punts in South Manchester rather than going all the way around the ring road.  Now all that's left in South Manchester is Ladybirds and KSG and nothing's really tempted me to pay them a visit yet.

I think a lot was to do with right time/right place if you like, rising popularity with the internet (it would be how a lot of us found out about it) prior to that it would probably have been an ad in the MEN a fast website made a big difference (in the days of dial-up it was my go-to page to check internet connection, if  Sandy's page didn't open you knew it was a connection fault)
Traditionally parlours (being an illegal business) were always reluctant to invest money in the premises, Sandy's were one of the exceptions and invested money back in the business which was obvious to see, the style and layout of waiting areas didn't suit some punters but on the whole it was a good set up.
I'm not sure what it was like in the last couple of years (didn't visit) but there were some "superstars" there over the years, although a couple I booked with in the early days who had loads of positive reviews (would be p/net) yet I just couldn't see what all the fuss was about, others like Patrice you'd struggle to get bookings.
I do wonder how much of the openness, good detailed website etc etc might have contributed to it's downfall after all it was still an illegal business,  it would be difficult to dispute possible income etc when it was all advertised

This is one of the niggles that is stopping me punting at the moment, I think £150/hr is too much, for ex parlour girls especially, when you might just get a parlour type "routine" service.
It seems as though those booking hotels or apartments are almost trying to cover the days costs with the first hour booking.

A while ago, I was just about to go into the Georgian in Oldham when I saw the police go in, I waited around the corner for a few minutes until they left.
Went in and asked what what was going on, just said they were chasing someone and thought he was in there, then business as usual

Years ago in a Chester parlour you could often walk in and find the local beat bobby (in uniform) sitting having a brew (probably ogling the girls working) it was never a problem, it was "tolerated" if you like, but a "brothel" is still an illegal business.
Things were soon all to change in Chester though.
