Hi All,

I have posted below link for a fake profile on AW.

Gives you an address in Datchet, asks for payment via Paypal or bank transfer before hand due to no shows etc.

Luckily I was already in the area so didnt have to travel far and only sent £20 via paypal and agreed would pay the rest on arrival.

As expected got to the address, no answer, wouldn't reply to messages or pick up calls.

Sent text from my work phone for availability and got the same message about payment before hand.

Interesting use of the word "only" there.  :sarcastic:

Nothing "lucky" about losing £20 and not getting a punt.

interesting you say 'as expected' - if you expected that she wouldn't answer etc then why would you transfer her any money...

I said - as expected got to the address. meaning i arrived as agreed.

obviously if i expected to be scammed i wouldn't of gone or sent £20 beforehand.

rather than try pick out points just appreciate the fact im trying to help others by providing a review and avoid being scammed.

no need to get defensive...it was a question to clarify what you were saying in ur review.
all reviews are appreciated on this site, keep in mind ur a member with a single review and a low post count, there is likely to be a bit of cynicism.

in any case, shit luck that you got scammed...it's a shame coz she looks quite fit!
better luck next time

I’d question the wisdom of indicating you text’d her from your work phone.
I don’t know your circumstances, but I wouldn’t want a cheating thief to know my work mobile number.
Potential for blackmail, calling your boss, etc.

how would they know its my work phone?

i just text pretending to be another customer to check if i got a response and the same script as before.

i understand what you mean though, but they didnt know it was my work phone.

Thanks for posting the above scam OP. Sorry you lost your £20 as well. In my early days I once lost £180, it hurts but mine wasn't as a result of paypal. Hopefully I am much wiser now and would make some of those newbie mistakes again- but even so we can all get caught out.

Yes I was also a slow starter on this forum, not as slow as you I hasten to add. So the more you contribute the more you get out of it. The review is a good start mate and I hope your next punt is more successful and look forward to your next review. :hi:

They wouldn't have known that it was your work phone until you posted it on here.
I wonder how many people texted around the time you realised you were ripped off?
