Hi all,

Have been looking for a decent massage with extras in the Exeter or Torquay area.

Outside of the massage shop in Exeter which has had very mixed reviews its pretty tough to find anything.

Have noticed two today - External Link/Members Only

Dropped an email as no phone was attached and have had a reply with number. So will follow up with a call today.

Has anyone had any dealings with any of these? The vivastreet one looks familiar.

I think the Thai lady is on tour, she appeared with feedback and adverts on multiple sites (AW, VS etc) might be legit but equally might not, photos look like the sort that lead to inevitable disappointment.

The Chinese lady has no feedback...nothing at all. I can almost guarentee the slim young frame you see in the advert will never be on the menu upon meeting

Tried calling the chinese lady. No answered phone, text after call saying hello. Messaged back and forth about whats on offer, but got a tb saying depends on each girl on the day. So will stay clear of that.

The vivastreet add the women looks familiar, possibly birmingham from memory. Do you have any links on AW for her? Can’t see anything local on AW thinking it might be someone ripping off her pictures.

As for Exeter, i’ve walked past a few times and the women looked older and a couple of reviews werent great. When did you last go?

I'm heading down that way the weekend, and am looking for a suitable alternative to Thai Bam. I know there's a TCM shop in Exeter south street that sounds interesting or there's a shop in Torquay Lucius street, although reports on here are not encouraging on that one but last report was a while a go. I may try that as I'm lazy and it's just round the corner from where I'm stopping.

I visited Thai Bam regularly in Torquay many years ago. Completely forgot about her to be honest but see she isn’t advertising.

The adultwork ad is from Lucius street. Had a text back today with those details.

Let me know how you get on and who you go for. Think im going to make a detour through Birmingham on my travels next week, much better pickings but could do with sourcing something local.

I would be amazed if the AW advert has any connection with the shop.

I’m sure the Gumtree advert has been mentioned here before but can’t find it at the moment.

I’ll be in the area in a few weeks time so i’ll be interested in how this thread develops.

I’ve seen Thaibam twice on previous visits, adequate but don’t understand why people rave about her other than the fact that there’s little competition.

The number on the profile definately said Lucius street, but I deleted the message when she wouldnt answer my call or give much detail on what was on offer. She just said depends on girl in room.

Agree on Thaibam, was when I was first getting into punting. Decent HR but fully clothed and no kind of interaction.

Haven’t seen any reviews on Lucius street but will have a look around on site now.

Correct Thaibam was a go to for a massage and HR for a few years. She's currently 'away' seems her winter break this year has lasted much longer than previous years. A few reviews mentioned her service dropped a bit too.

I can testify that the shop on Lucius street is an absolute waste of time, if it is still the same set-up as when I last visited then I'd head to exeter in a heart beat its only 25 minutes down the road. Yes sometimes there looks like a older lady on the desk in that shop, I've walked in many times when she's been there (sometimes on her own) and always get someone else. Mind you some of the older birds give far better massages and HE's than the younger looking ones.

Walked past that shop in Lucius street last night. Saw the Chinese lady working there. Initially thought she looked decent. But she had all her makeup on (red lipstick) and I had my beer goggles on. Walked past this morning, saw her again with no makeup

I''m still not convinced that the AW/Vivastreet adverts have any connection with the shop.

I've viewed the shop from outside, it's only half a shop as it shares the shop front with another business.

You say they stated Lucius St but you deleted the text. Check the address before you go to the shop and find you're in the wrong place.

The Vivastreet advert started 7/4/18, the AW 9/4/18 and Gumtree posting for less than a month.

So it looks like the business has changed hands recently.

Perhaps Lightfoot can advise whether the signeage on the shop(s) is the same or has changed.

I will be in the area in a few weeks time. I was intending to stop off at Crewkerne en route (and I still might as both Lisa and Sally are good) but if this shop has changed hands then i'll have another option. Bam is an adequate Plan B when all else fails but will never be a Plan A as far as i'm concerned.

It has had a re-furb but don't be fooled it's still the same place, I've not been back since my last 2 visits there, both were in retrospect totally abismal.

I have a very good friend who has been there in the last week and he mentioned to me two things

1) massage was dog

2) massuese was dog

3) was awful vfm and service

Personally I won't be back, and i'd suggest others pass it by. As long as they get punters the service / girls wont change

Thank god it looks like Bam is back!

The place on Lucius st has changed hands, they are now rotating a different girl through there every 2 weeks. 4 weeks ago i had a £20 HJ only as i was limited on time.
