Natasha - LSS - London Street Sauna - Edinburgh

NEGATIVE

 I wanted to finish my Edinburgh Sauna Tour review -
so decided to visit the last on my list - London Street Sauna  41 London St, Edinburgh EH3 6LX ( tel 0131 556 8848 )
I have never been here before - so this is again an in-depth review - so that others visiting for the 1st time , have an exact idea of what to expect

I again point out , this review will be very handy for people not familiar with Edinburgh or how a Sauna operates there  .

Logistics
I came out of the Northern Exit of Calton Road at Waverley Railway Station , Edinburgh then walked a short distance to enter Leith Street ( which saves a lot of time )
 and then turned right and walked down to the bottom where the Picardy Place roundabout , crossed York Place and walked all the way down Broughton Road , then turned left into London Road , where the sauna is at basement level on the corner to your left  .

It is clearly marked LONDON STREET SAUNA in Green – note it doesn’t actually have girls ready till 10.30am , despite being open at 10am .
 I also point out it doesn’t open till 2pm on a Sunday .

Fees ( £ 105 )
I paid my 1 hour door fee ( £ 35 ) to the Male receptionist – and entered the door to the left , where the large , spacious Lounge is located ( biggest I have encountered ) –
no doubt about it LSS has the very best facilities I have ever seen and the best Décor .
I was extremely impressed with the working Sauna with the great Showers and the nice spacious lockers where you have a coat hanger and a metal hook – with a shelf below for your shoes – if you like Luxury , this is it .
You get a Black ( Waterproof ) Bag with your Key .
I showered and put on the nice bathrobe and went into the lounge - This is where I encountered problems – with the atmosphere decidedly chilly or uninterested .
The male receptionist had disappeared and never reappeared .
 I over heard that the Polish lady I fancied , was booked already for half-an-hour , in advance
 ( I heard from the male receptionist say that to her ) . That was the beginning of my crappy day.
I would say the totally bored and uninterested attitude of the girls in the lounge is really bad – and in addition - I got some dirty looks from the 2 Polish Blondes 
( why , I actually , have no idea – or maybe they are just dour and EE miserable )

Present was Alice and Vicky
 ( The 2 Polish Blondes – one looks like a little bit like my avatar  , the other looks like Birgitte Hjort Sørensen – but with much bigger tits ) ,
Gemma ( Dark haired and sub-standard Scottish ) , Kay ( Thai ) and a new Thai Girl with finally a Russian Dark Haired called Natasha .

What amazed me at LSS was most of them are NOT sitting in the lounge , but scattered around it – and going back and forward to the Ladies Locker Room and the Private Staff area – and being gone some time .
I struggled to have a conversation of any form and actually never did get a chance to chat to the 2 Polish ladies - which was a blessing in disguise , as every time they looked at me , I felt uneasy .
I  could cope with this , I am not a snowflake – and I am not easily upset – what I did not like , was the fact that the rest of the Girls knew there was only 1 lady taken
( who was Polish ) , and they knew I was there for an hour –
so you would think I would attract some attention ??
 I  am clearly going to spend money for an hour , I have showered , I am intelligent , in good  slim  shape ( I  go to a gym ) , I am well-groomed and fairly good looking .
No Chance – I have never seen this behaviour ever before in a Sauna .
 ( only 2 punters came in when I was there and spent only half an hour –
so its not like it was busy – and couldn’t cope  )
Facilities
The LSS lounge has a TV you can watch ( opposite the entry door ) with Water and Coffee Facilities.
I decided to approach Natasha and sat next to her , striking up a conversation ( I know about Russian History ) and decided I was going to pick her by default –
 I actually wanted to get out of that Lounge , as I was not enjoying the vibe one little bit .
Please note , I have NEVER encountered this anywhere , dear LSS you need to address this .
No way was I picking those 2 Polish Girls - with their stinking attitude and death stares .

I decided to book an hour with Russian Natasha – I didn’t fancy the Scottish Girl as she looked sub-average  and I have done the Thai Experience already …
I found Natasha was attractive , she is about medium height , has natural tubular breasts and has long Black Hair .
She also has Brown eyes ( for the record ) and she had a nice bum ( medium sized) .

I went with her to the VIP Bedroom area
( large sized - with Shower – best VIP Room I have yet seen )
 and received , for £ 70 , GFE and got , RO , then OWO and with Kissing on the lips
- I had missionary and doggy - and had a fairly good time as I got Natasha to say swear words or dirty talk in Russian while I fucked her .
However , I make the Forum aware of delaying tactics – where she went out to go to the Toilet twice ( I was okay with that , but the second time I thought was taking the piss  ) –
She took ages to return – and had already gone out at the very start of the hour earlier and come back a while later – so it was 3 periods really .

I will say , an decidedly average punt – okay I enjoyed myself –
I just didn’t appreciate obvious timewasting .
She was also annoyed a bit as I was trying to keep the action going and not lasting just 5 minutes – she asked me a few times , are you not coming yet . The sex was just okay .
This was not my biggest gripe – this was to come later .
I got dressed afterwards and went to the lounge .
This is the part , that frankly really annoyed me the most , and I am an easy-going guy .

I wanted to spend time in the lounge - chatting to the rest of the Ladies  ( The 2 Polish girls were the only ones that got any bookings )
and I was not in a rush to get away as I had the entire day off  .
I gave up as I was ignored , and frankly got the vibe – virtually in the clear
you have spent your money – Now  ( polite word used ) GO AWAY –
I have not encountered this ever before in my 4 other Edinburgh Saunas .

Okay , DISCLAIMER - This is only my opinion - this punt was so-so
 – but was spoilt by bad attitudes , time wasting and TOTAL disinterest in the lounge
It was frankly totally unprofessional - to say the least .

I admit , this is the worst ever bad sauna punt , where I walked out of a Sauna , actually depressed and wondering what the hell took place – I was really fed up.

 I would say , totally  genuinely , this sauna needs to improve customer service –
you deserve your bad name London Street – its for a reason .
The lack of reviews for LSS on UK punting lately - say volumes .

I will not go back , nor would I actually recommend this place .

Okay - I know Carols Sauna – is supposedly a dump , but I would go back there in a heart beat –
Firstly I had a great time , I liked the ladies there , I found them attractive –
above all , they had the time of day for me –
I did not get ignored or worst still – I did NOT feel depressed leaving it –
That I will not tolerate – so it’s a negative rather than a neutral for me –
so my fellow UK punting Scottish Forum Colleagues are made aware  .

Post script – LONDON STREET SAUNA – actually for me Edinburgh's Worst Sauna
I am saddened to write this , but its my own genuine refection after several days
– and not an immediate reaction . I grabbed a LSS Card to prove I was at the damn place .
I finally point out I rarely give bad reviews , you have to be really bad to attract my wrath
so please bear this in mind .
Maybe I was unlucky , on the day , but I had pointed out it was my first visit to LSS and you would expect them to want repeat custom .

There is a reason why LSS is avoided , and I would say , go to Carols , Scorpios , BSS or NTS rather than LSS –
you WILL get treated better and the women actually want your attention , money and time .

I would far, far rather walk an hour and go to see Rachel at Carol's than suffer this depression again .

I was last there in 2015, and it looks like you now pay before you enter the lounge. In the past, you paid in the lounge. I think that you have been very unlucky with the choice of girl and the dire atmosphere in the lounge. Perhaps with another girl and on another day it would be better.  I've memories going back as far as 1993 of a great atmosphere in the lounge, with some good banter from reception. In more recent times, I've never known things to be as dire as you describe. Better luck next time.

For someone like myself who remembers the days when London Street was arguably the best sauna in the UK never mind Edinburgh it was something of a sobering experience reading this first time experience-especially the way you were treat in the lounge...the one place that used to be a constant source of banter back in the day.

The Management ought to hang their heads in shame that they have allowed this place to rot over the past decade-not that they'll be bothered so long as the ££££ keep coming in.

There is sometimes a bit of chat in the lounge, and ive found the girls try and lure you down with legs crossing, leg opening, hair flicking, etc, technical term for this is poaching. It depends on girls on shift, if they don't fancy a punter, they try and hide in the kitchen, also not all girls want a client for an hour, unless they have been with them before I imagine, financially in  London st, the girl does better out of a 30 minute booking, or so one of them told me. The time wasting in the room is unusual, though happens, ive had a girl shower for 5 minutes in middle of half hour booking, mind you she was the only girl who managed to get the sack from London st for being hopeless, cant remember her name, she ended up in paradise sauna, she was obsessed with her horse. Ten years of folk complaining on this forum and no change, but they do ok as a business, the Chinese community go there on masse, and plenty of vince cable lookalikes with their barbour jackets, check shirts and bags of sweets coming through the door keep the show on the road. These guys don't want a shag, merely a pretty girl with nice underwear to play with their willie, and London st girls are happy to oblige.

Very good detailed review i have visited lss a couple of times and my first punt there was fantastic. I saw a girl called samantha she was very horny. Then i saw a girl i cant remember her name though but im sure she was a rom that was an hour booking and it was a neutral. I will go back to see selina as she is friendly and has a good review on here.

I would never in a million years talk to a SP woman about them , I discussed Russian History , and built a rapport with ease .
I also had her complaining afterward in the lounge ' you have exhausted me ' -
so really its not the bedroom angle that's my gripe - and I am not important -

its clear to me at LSS , that people go for only half an hour ( and don't shower - unless its in the room ? I assume )
I never saw anyone enter the locker room , to get dressed - they headed straight to the bedroom from the lounge
I repeat , only 2 girls were seated in the lounge seating - the rest were on chairs behind the reception desk - and at the sides of the lounge

 its the bad management and lack of discipline / professionalism at LSS -
I cannot state enough , zero banter , and also NO WG introduced themselves , and the receptionist never introduced me to them --

this is a total culture shock , compared to other saunas - If I had not had my piece of paper , I would have been blind .

I was not a nice experience at LSS .

The No.1 rule in the saunas was that if you don't shower you don't see the girl.Simple as.
Another thing that used to happen at LSS was that first timers were given a guided tour of the premises by one of the girls

As for the old 'You have exhausted me' chestnut...you'll be amazed by how fast they 'recover' when its time for the next punter.

On the very rare occasions when they weren't at the door to kiss you goodbye the receptionist would shout of them and they'd come scampering out of the kitchen. When this was the late Big Bruce behind the desk his voice was so loud that the feathers used to be nearly blown off the parrot.

Not only did the Scottie girls kiss you goodbye but they also used to squeeze your arse as well....how times have changed.

I'm amazed that the Chinese still go there in droves. Tuesday night was Chinese night in the 90s, and I tried to avoid going then. A very good informative review that gives plenty of info to anyone who has not been there before.  I have visited a few times and the receptionist normally gets a waiting girl to give you a towel and show you round the place.  Ive often found this is the best time to discuss services with her (If she appeals to you) and ask anything else, as its often difficult to clarify things in the lounge.
