I  decided this week to visit Carols Sauna and explore the Edinburgh Sauna where no man has gone before ( or at least written a review )

Carols Sauna at 320 Easter Rd, Edinburgh EH6 8JT ( tel 0131 554 0109 ) - they also have a website - External Link/Members Only

Yet again , I have never been here before - so this is an in-depth review - so that others visiting for the 1st time , have an exact idea of what to expect .
I again point out , this review will be very handy for people not familiar with Edinburgh or how a Sauna operates there  .
It was also visited just to answer my curiosity and provide a bang-up-to date 2018 review for Carols .

Logistics
I came out of the Northern Exit of Calton Road at Waverley Railway Station , Edinburgh then walked a short distance to enter Leith Street ( which saves a lot of time )
 and then turned right and walked down to the bottom where the Picardy Place roundabout is , then turned right and followed Leith Walk till I got to the busy 2nd roundabout
and turned right into London Road - let me point out straight away , the diverted traffic ( major demolition / construction works till 2020 at the old St James Shopping Centre )
had to be seen to be believed - I was glad I was walking , there was long queues of traffic , so if you plan going by Car - take care and allow extra time - its not pretty .

I reached the end of London Road , and turned left into Easter Road ( home of the HIBS Football Club ) - you then follow this road all the way down till you see the Blue Awning ( right word ? )
that is marked CAROLS SAUNA - you have reached your destination - its on your right - with a blue door
Walking Time about an hour

now , be aware , I looked for a few minutes - for this review , what the car parking was like for a potential punter - not good , very few obvious spaces ( at midday )
which actually , really shocked me , maybe later at night , it will be better , but don't count on it 

Fees ( £ 95 )
I paid my initial door fee ( £ 10 ) for an look with the helpful Male receptionist ( the fee to enter for an hour is £ 25 )
The reason for my unusual caution - was that I was actually really worried , this would be the shit punt where I would fail , and my full glass would be badly spilt ....
Anyway - I entered the lounge through the door to my left and was very impressed with the 2 ladies sitting in the lounge of Carols - Serena and Rachel -
At this point I should also freely admit , I could not believe my good luck - Serena , was Black , attractive and has a lovely posh accent ( think Trevor MacDonald )

I don't know if there is a locker room but I felt safe and secure at NTS , and frankly my mind was elsewhere  .
I never asked about toilets - as I was struggling to hide an immediate hard-on , as I really find Black Girls very attractive ...
The lounge ( small ) has a TV you can watch ( above the entry door to the right ) with Water and Juice Facilities in the middle on a Table .
I knew with seconds I was going to pick Serena and only spent a minute chatting to the lovely , attractive black haired Rachel - I would say she is well worth picking

I decided to book an hour with the Serena - I can also say I pulled out the extra £ 15 in a record time for me - I was really up for this punt 

I found Serena was very attractive ( to me ) , she is about medium height , has natural medium sized breasts and has Black Hair curled up .
She also has lovely eyes ( for the record ) and she had a lovely arse ( not too big or fat in any way) .
I was led like a Dog with a bone , to the Bedroom / Sauna area ( decent sized - with Shower ) and received , for £ 70 , GFE
and got OW and with Kissing on the lips - only - I also had missionary and doggy - and admit , Serena wore me out - I had a cracking time .

She does not do OWO or DFK - everything is covered - just for the record , so you are aware ..
but I also state even with a Condom on , the BJ was really good ( god knows what it would have been like if she had not used one - I can only dream ---  )

I make especial mention that there was no time watching , or delaying tactics - above all - I was made welcome and wanted .
I can add finally , you get personal and loving service , and was told Carols is in business as they get repeat customers ( frankly - count me in )

I will say , a terrific punt - I enjoyed every moment - and was astonished , that I was able to tick off my life-long wish to have sex with a Black Lady - in Carols Sauna !!
I spent a while in the lounge afterward chatting to Serena and Rachel ( 1/2 hour maybe ) - I was not in a rush to get away

Okay , DISCLAIMER - This is only my opinion - now at the end of my usual reviews , I make a complaint - that the hour went too damn quick ........
well this punt felt like an hour and a half , and I will state - I go to a Gym and keep fit , and I was knackered afterwards

My walk backwards to Waverley - was with a huge smile on my face,  and a big spring in my step - determined , quoting Arnold Schwarzenegger I'll be back

I will be back again , no doubt about it , to Carols
I was told on some days they have 4 Girls on , and a few different faces to those I met , for me PERSONALLY this Sauna is well worth making the effort to visit

 I would say , totally  genuinely , this sauna deserves to survive
Apart from needing a lick of paint , it was no worse than anywhere else I have visited - and you get superb personal service
 ( I was given a shower at the end with Serena inside  - I have never got that anywhere else - plus zero time watching or buzzers sounding )

Oh , and if you don't believe me - about Carols Sauna - I get the place to myself !!

Thanks for reviewing OP.  Its well written, and although your trying to be helpful, I'm not sure it was necessary to provide major detail in terms of logistics to get there. Your link contained the address already though, which should have been enough really.

I can see you have the Sauna bug. I started to visit them around 6 years ago and I've been hooked ever since. An expensive but highly enjoyable hobby. After reading on here past stories from fellow punters like Foreverchanges, London Street was seemingly THE, place to go to a few years back. I'm still kicking myself for not going then. Think you will be impressed by the layout and the facilities in the place though. More importantly is the choice of girls. Its a few months since I've been, so I can't give any pointers.

Another informative review that brings back a few memories of my only ever visit to Carols way back in Dec 2005 although I seem to recall that the promise of a booking with a 19 year old Becky (the Carlyle was a later addition) ensured that my journey by foot from Waverley to Carols took a lot less than a hour. .

I also remember that the 'VIP room' boasted such features as no light in the shower and a polythene cover on the bed which, given Ms Carlyle's pyrotechnics in the room,was a possible case for Health & Safety at the very least.

Yes I was lured to Carols to see BC after her brief but memorable tenure at LSS.I knew back then that she was destined for greatness because she used to tell me every time I saw her!! !

As for LSS..With hindsight I'm actually pleased I lived so far away as I reckon I would have bankrupted myself within a year.
That was the thing back then...you would be introduced to the girls in the lounge and it was an embarassment of riches.

Parking on Easter road is very tricky since the Council narrowed the road and enlarged the pavement for no reason and unnecessarily (to me anyway... maybe for the Hibs fans), They did that to Leith walk as well, but for that, I can see why, in some parts, pavements were too narrow, and cycle lane was badly needed. but on Easter road, the wide pedestrian space is wasted and no cycle lane. Since then easter road has only one lane for each and if the bus stops, then the following cars have no where to go but to stop and wait.  traffic jam  ensues.  and of course, No parking space, tricky to get out.   you can always to to the side street though.  If yo are going to Carol, turn at "Tam's" bar and there is a quite and wide street where u can park easily.
