I had high hopes when I read CB’s initial remarks. I thought by “tackling “ that he was going to do something positive about the level of SPs in Newport. 

But no. SS is right. Just the usual stuff about street walkers, that we get every year or two 

Mind you, the traffic is so bad in Newport that you could pick up a girl, shag her, and the queue wouldn’t have moved 5 feet.

Is it a big problem in Newport ? heard story’s when working in the city centre a few years ago , but did’t take much notice ( pre punting ) story’s of young asylum seekers ( young teenage females) doing stuff in broad day light, thought it was bollox etc ?

I read in the Argus about a year or two ago that it was a problem in the Pill area and local residents were up in arms over plans to have a legal zone down there like they have had in the past with one or two other UK cities.  Never go down there if I can help it, so don't know if that was true or not.

All cities have vast shit areas but to call Bristol a shithole seems a bit extreme. What city isn't a shithole?

I love Cardiff , and 100 % would not want to live anywhere else in the u k , but since the sixties / seventies as much as Cardiff has improved beyond belief, large areas have gotten well left behind , and those areas are getting bigger by the year ! But I bet most towns and city’s have the same shit going down .

Waste of time & money  having all this debate about the M4 relief road.  Just bulldoze the lot and build a new 8 lane M4  straight through the middle - job done.
