External Link/Members OnlyNow to be clear, this is a review of the newer Chinese in George Street not the one in the centre of Newcastle which has been there for ages.
1st thing to say is that this hasn't one of the least discreet entrances, right on the main road, at a junction with traffic lights. I waited for a while for the door to be opened, so if don't like to be seen, this may not be for you.
Inside I paid £40 and was shown up 2 flights of stairs to a small and boiling hot room, which made me instantly sweat and put me on edge. Wendy is small, fairly cute and didn't speak much English, so no chance of a chat. But she smiles a lot, and her massage is pretty good - albeit in the Chinese style, not a deep Thai massage. She asked quite early if I wanted HR and knew enough English to say £20, but I got the impression that not much else was on offer, at least from her. She giggled and smiled all the way through the HR, which was cute, unless of course she was actually laughing at me.
So my impressions are pretty positive as the massage was good, the girl was nice, although the entrance might out me off in daytime, but that's just a personal thing. Whilst I was being shown downstairs I heard the owner take another booking on speakerphone and accept someone who seemed to say they were a regular and could they pay £35 for an hour, so that's worth asking if you go.
