Stuttgart is a pretty unremarkable by all accounts. Schlossplatz is he place to be really, the palace is impressive, and there is some nice architecture in the vicinity.

It was a July weekend and there were loads of stalls selling food and beer with live music and various shows etc. This is what I love about Germany in the summer! 

There are two areas of mongering interest. Drei Faben Haus, also know as Three Floor of Hoors! It is quite intimidating in that it looks run down and it’s very narrow with some dodgy characters hanging around. I’m not judging, I actually like that kind of atmosphere lol I think it’s safe though. I done a couple laps with a view to retuning the next day. The reason why I didn’t will become apparent later. I would say it’s full of mainly 6’s and 7’s - the one 8 I wanted was chatting to some Asian guy for the whole time I was three, so I gave up in the end.

The second area is Leonhardstrasse, which is about 10 minutes from the above. Here you will find various houses with around 3-6 girls. All EE’s with some big 18 stone muscle bound security man on the door. I agreed €50 with an absolute stunner. I’m very sorry but I cannot locate the exact house. They were all much of a muchness if I’m honest. She was a Romanian around 5’5, tanned, long brown hair, really beautiful. She was actually quite friendly and had friends in the city I come from. I thought this was a good sign, but it was like having sex with a sack of spuds. A quick CBJ on to mish. I wish I had chosen doggy, but there was no chance of a second position at standard price, and there was no way I was paying her any extra. Anyway, I finished up and left a little disappointed.

I later found out that’s par for the course in Stuttgart - not recommended.

Anyway, I ended up going back to Schlossplatz for a few hours then returned to the hostel where there was a party atmosphere. I ended up drinking jäger bombs and talking Brexit with some German guys until the god knows when the next day.

It’s worth a quick visit, but for German hospitality rather than the sites and mongering.

So instead of mongering you “drank some lager”. 

A brief search of UKP (put “Stuttgart” in the search box) shows it is quite well appointed with an enormous 3-floor walk-up, an excellent RLD with more traditional walk-ups — the whole thrill of which is to search for the diamonds in the rough (which I’ve done personally, successfully, several times). Other posts show there are FKKs for those wishing to go upmarket.

It also has much cheaper shopping than much of Germany, has some remarkable museums, and is more laid-back with traditional German formaility less apparent. And it’s even close to the Swiss border if you fancy a side-trip to the land of Alps and classy time-pieces. It’s not Berlin, but it has adequate facilities and is a pleasant city to visit and to enjoy a bit of mongering. 

All in all, Stuttgart is one of my favourite German cities.

You’ll note that mongered first, then “drank larger” - sometimes mate its just a case of once bitten, twice shy.  I don’t visit places solely for mongering and I certainly don’t claim to be any kind of expert in the field.

I was only there for a limited time before heading to Heidelberg. I actually found the Linden museum quite interesting, but I wasn’t a fan of the architecture and city as a whole.

Maybe I’m doing the place a disservice, but that was my experience. Confilicting reports can be found on UKP for most cities, establishments, and girls.

A side trip to Switzerland would appeal to me, but I was heading the other way, and shopping doesn’t appeal to me at all, so I couldn’t possibly comment

I love Germany and I’d certainly go back for a second opinion.

Fair enough. I see you made a bad choice on a single punt there with a Romanian, my apologies. But finding jewels in the rough is both a numbers game and experience. It was your overall characterisation of the city that I ranted against!

Better luck in Switzerland. They do tend to honest, especially the Swiss ones. But expensive.

I agree it was probably a little harsh given that I’d only visited for a short time. I guess I’m blinded by my experiences in Berlin, Heidelberg, etc.

I’ll no doubt return in the future and will do with an open mind!
