Minimum criteria to view other members posts

can any one give me some guidance on what the minimum criteria to view other members posts is???

Didn't know there was a minimum criteria for that as I could do that from the beginning.
What I didn't have from the beginning was off-topic and pm access, which I was eventually granted access to.

Ditto. Even visitors can to an extent or if you're not logged in.

I am new to UKP and I am submitting reviews and posts.
Some punting areas are closer to me and it be helpful to learn from established experienced punters.
At present I cannot access reviews and posts of my mates just yet.

A few days ago a member told me his wife signed up to UKP, when I checked her account it showed she was constantly trying to view his profile's post history and review history but was getting permission denied notice.

Might not save him from a bollocking from his wife or divorce, but it might help in a small way.

For this reason, and others (e.g. pimps stalking punters here), I have no intention on return to what the site was before where anyone, even with zero posts, could do what someone with 500 posts could do.

Just contribute well and maybe learn patience, out of interest are you female or been here before?

If he published minimum criteria people like you would spam to reach that.

Oh ffs read what he said. It is Admin's personal decision. He is not answerable to a list of check boxes. And if he did publish a 'list of minimum criteria' you'd have every fucking pimp and troll working their tits off to fulfil it. Make your contributions useful to other punters, write reviews in accordance with the guidelines, show a respect for the ethos of UKP.
Any privileges are a gift from the owner, not an entitlement.

There is a balance to be struck between encouraging lurkers to participate and making the site inaccessible to the first time visitor.  I appreciate Admin’s direction of travel on this one and the consistent message from breatherin of the congregation that new members need to make a contribution to be credible and get help.

I agree with the set up, I did have access to PM etc but I do realise I'm a very rare poster and reviewer so can understand why things get tightened up and I seem to be more restricted.
In explanation due to geography I'm not a prolific punter but do review when I see someone new and appreciate the information I gain from here which has so far helped me find good SPs , subsequently I revisit good ones since I'm such an infrequent visitor and play it safe though always looking for good leads!
