Saw this, External Link/Members Only and thought who is going to declare their earnings.

Then I thought that if an escort is doing it full time and it`s her only source of income and isn`t claiming dole, it begs the question, where is your money coming from?
Could cause problems later on in life like getting dole money or a state pension etc.

I know a few lads who live off their wits and don't claim dole or pay tax, they're never troubled by HMRC. WGs can, and some do, declared their earnings (or part of probably) as "adult entertainers" some that suggest they offer massages can declare as a professional masseuse, they will be able to claim some tax back, like their rent, condoms, sex toys and lube if they do register and will pay their national insurance which will help them get a pension when they retire.

The obvious answer is that contrary to some people’s opinion on here is that they do declare income and pay taxes
Just like plumbers and others that deal in cash

Perhaps they don’t declare everything, but a failure to run some accounts and contribute to taxes would put them at risk of the wrath of the taxman

Claiming the dole would be counter productive unless they’re right on the bottom of the ladder selling themselves on the street to pay for their addiction as it would put them in the sights of those who are going to be very nosey about dole fraud

I used to work for HMRC in call centre and I did once have a self employed escort phone for help completing her tax return, had 2 others who were listed as 'adult entertainers' as well

I personally don’t give a fuck as long as they give a good service to me.

However I have punted a escort who did have herself set up properly as a self employed worker. Think she said she actually declared it as a escort..... some of the small talk that you have between rounds hey

This isn't a pro$$ie support site, this repetitive shit is best suited to Safe or UKE or are you just trying to kick off the "we pay tax" "you fucking don't" style thread again

Not really my business but i would think it would be wise to self assess and at least be in the system and pay something otherwise you are invisible and as someone suggested, this could get difficult later on. I am in a line of business where people think  oh well you can take cash (a bit like the plumber mentioned above) but you know what ? I dont. Why? Because i like to present a genuine honest front to customers. I take most of my payments via mobile card reader now,,all above board.

My regular SP who I see often now is a fully signed up tax payer - she has an accountant who specialises in this so she can offset expenses etc etc. It means she has clean money that she can pay into a bank - a profession - in her case it is sport masseuse and personal trainer and she can earn her first £11,000 or so free of tax, she pays NI which is good and the next £30,000 give or take is only at 20% and she will have lots of expenses to offset.
It's getting harder and harder to use cash so she can take any form of payment and if she gets some cash that she doesn't want to declare then that's her choice and like many people she will eventually be able to get a mortgage on the earnings or the money is clean and she can use as a deposit later on in life.

she must be the exception

I know quite a few massage shop owners who use accountants to manage their taxes - just like any other shop. Guess they are more obvious to HMRC than WG's?
As someone said earlier it's up to them - we buy a service and I couldn't be bothered what they do. However I would guess that it's a relatively small percentage who register - bet the Roms, Chinese and other foreign nationals just keep moving.
It would be an interesting job to be an HMRC investigator for this market sector!

The taxman will chase anyone for undeclared income, even if it`s from illegal activities

No shit, surely everyone knows that. I know this is a forum and that you're free to discuss anything vaguely relevant to punting but why don't you just post some bloody reviews instead of posting about boring crap, especially when there are other threads about the same thing!

Why did you promise you wouldn't say? To me that's more immoral (or at least offering not to say anything is more immoral). Punters should come before prossies because they get an advantage (often an unfair one) in almost every other area. One of the reasons I'm on here is genuinely out of a moral duty to other punters, especially since there's so may "cowboys" and rip-offs in this industry. I'm also on TripAdvisor for similar reasons (although I post on there much less because the standards across that industry (hotels and restaurants) are usually a lot higher - which is pretty damning for escorting).
