Came back from a New Year weekend away and tried logging in to AW to see the reply to a message I'd been notified of by email this afternoon. Gobsmacked to see that my account has been deactivated "potentially due to a breach of the Terms of Use". No further details given.

I've gone through the process to appeal against the decision, but it would of course be helpful to know what I'm supposed to have done. Nothing than I can think of, certainly. Anyone ever been kicked off in error then reinstated?

Never been kicked off. Or heard of other punters that have. Would be interested to here why if you find out. I know SPs can whinge if they think you are a time waster but don’t think that’ll do it. Anything illegal would obviously be frowned upon. Don’t have multiple accounts do you?

No, only ever had one account. Changed my name on there after some trouble with an SP but that was about a year ago.

Racking my brains further, I have occasionally hotlinked AW pics to reviews or comments on here and on a tranny escort forum, which would probably be against the rules if they could ID me (which is doubtful). But none that I can think of very recently.

I have nearly 40 positive feedbacks which would be a real pain to lose. Happens to SPs all the time, I suppose, so it must happen to punters every now and then.

I gave a negative on here to the generally well-reviewed Daisy Dean of Fulham in October but I don't think I bothered with AW feedback. There's none from me on her profile, anyway:

Some other punter told her about my UKP review and she sent me a shitty message via AW a day later. I offered to copy it here without further comment as her right to reply but she gave me another mouthful for even suggesting it. Matter closed as far as I was concerned.

I suspect she's reported your discussion and that AW have taken exception to you reviewing one of "their" punts here: in their view you should have reviewed her on AW only.
Yet another reason for keeping UKP and AW accounts totally separate. Pity you didn't give her a negative on AW: her reviews there look like they've been posted by cuntstruck choirboys and need a dose of reality adding

Shes reported you and AW have banned y9u for breaching terms...i.e. posting adultwork copyrighted pics here. They flash up a shitty copyright notice which u wpuld have probably seen....so you broke the terms.

They're not linked. Entirely different usernames. Her complaint would be the only link, surely? And why would they take her word for it that any particular AW member posted the review here without even challenging that member? Course, I've confirmed it now. Doh!

And technically, it wasn't me who posted her pics here – there are none on my actual review. It was the UKP indexing system that put them at the top left, then Sinz provided his usual sterling service.

I was kicked off recently. No reason given , told admin and was reinstated. After 3 days  , kicked off a second time  24 hours later. Tried  everything to get  back but was told to  open a new ID which would be easier , which I did   ,, but sic because I lost 43 positive feedback so  plus everything else we keep on the site etc

Quick response from an AW admin : "Your account was deactivated due to the references of under-age activity within your profile". WTF? They also didn't like a link to a personal blog that I'd added.

However, they'd reviewed my case and reactivated the profile.

The only thing that could possibly be interpreted as underage is my answer to one of their "interview" questions which asks what's the most embarrassing sexual thing that has ever happened to you. I said it was getting caught by the vice cops getting a blowjob from a teenage hooker round the back of some garages in Kings Cross (this was back on the 90s).

I meant she was 18 or 19 of course. The daft thing is, that little nugget has been sitting there unchanged since I joined nearly 10 years ago. I've now deleted the word "teenage" and I'll hope for the best. Thanks for the support.

? Why do you bother with all that Q+A shit or blogging??? Surely that's all meant for service providers..... us punters don't have to "sell" ourselves on AW. I'd suggest pruning down your profile down to the absolute minimum,  less likely to cause any friction or issues that way.

Agree with that, user name and reviews, you don't have to sell yourself. Your cash does that for you.
Its a bugger when AW goes tits up as I have lost loads of notes about SP's (phone numbers, addresses etc)

Lots of WGs have told me they lose credits when AW shuts down their profiles, which seems to happen often to some girls, so I suppose it would the same for a punter. My tiny three-point-something balance was still there when they brought me back to life.

You’re not exactly big money to them mate. You probably pissed them off for something or nothing or else a prossie that didn’t like you thought up a convincing story.

your profile may have been deactivated.  There are two ways this can happen.

1. You clicked the remove me link with the My Details area of the Site.  Use the Reactivate Me link on the login page to restore your profile, although if you have been inactive for a while some of your profile content (text/pictures/movies) may have been deleted.
 
2. Your profile has been removed by an administrator due to inappropriate conduct, fraud or other activity that falls outside the spirit of the AdultWork.com Club. As cited in the Terms of Use, all members are expected to operate in an open and honest fashion.
In rare cases it could be possible that someone else has gained access to your profile details and changed your nickname and/or password.  If your profile is still visible on the Site then you should use the password reminder.

No doubt some fluffy or white knight tipped her off about the review. Pathetic thing to do really but hope you used a punting phone and then blocked her for hurling abuse, so uncalled for.
