I get the feeling you are talking for your self and your limited experience or the size of you pocket. Like “swapmeister” said it’s  all depends on how deep your pockets are. There is a reason why some fly business and others fly economy - you both get to the destination at the same time but at different comfort and airport exit times. There is a market for those prices and it’s crazy if you can’t afford it. Some of the foreign owned agencies have common ownership - it is effectively a cartel.  So why bring the prices down - prices are generally set by the girls with some input from the agencies (to maxmise their commission - usually 30%).

I don't think you're right: that's surely not the common option. I recently chatted with a girl from Diva and she had no clue how to find an apartment in London. I pointed her at Chelsea Cloisters as an example of a place who's punting-friendly where she can surely find an apartment for herself. For most of these girls the agency is surely providing the flat: this is consistent with what I've heard from most of them: they pay for the flat on top of the agency commission but they don't source it themselves.

Yes, that’s what I was meaning in my reply to someone else’s point that you’ve quoted.
