How do you post a picture from PC

Sorry in advance for being dense but I can't seem to figure out how I can upload a picture from my hard drive in to a post.

Can anyone help?

Ummm. Sorry. Could you repeat that in baby-sized steps as I have absolutely no idea. Do I need an account for these things? What is sim?

If you have the .jpg pic, do the following:

1) Upload the image to an image hosting site e.g. imgur, imageshack, tinypic
2) Generate a link after you've finished uploading. It should be something like this (http:/www.your_image_host.com/your_image.jpg)
3) Copy that link and paste it in a new reply here, then highlight it and click on the Insert Image button below the Bold Text button (the button with the bold, capital B)

If you're still not sure how to do it after reading the above instruction, PM me the image and I'll be happy to do it for you.

Click the browse button, select the image from the pop up screen of your files, click open. Then click upload it.
Your image will appear on a new page as a thumbnail. Scroll down page until you see this form.

Click the button I have highlighted. Go to UKP and paste (ctrl+v). You're done.

This thread deserves a bump and in doing so, I would like to add that instead of using the hotlink for forums link skittish has highlighted ... I'd use the thumbnail for forums one as it gives you a preview of what you're about to see.

For security reasons you should always reserve face photos for the Private Gallery. Only nice discreet gentlemen ever look there, you would have avoided your stalker.
