Can't think of any that are permanently based in or near town, and if you rule out the bay you'll be limiting your options quite a bit.

If you're dead set on city centre probably best to keep an eye on the tours section on AW (though not much has caught my eye on there recently) and UKE as a lot of touring SPs use city centre hotels or apartments.
