Best bet is postcode search in that area.  NP16 for chepstow, NP20 for newport

I'm on the English side but

NP20 is central Newport and returns 19 within 1 mile

NP16 is Chepstow and returns 2 within a mile

Yes I agree, and Newport is sadly not that good anymore either.  It's why I usually end up going to Cardiff, Bristol and even Swansea on occasions.
